The iphone3g battery isnt the best to begin with, so if you put 3.0 on the iphone3g so you can get video recording from cydia then thats just asking for trouble from the battery.
BTW, all iphones have non replacable batterys.So you can't swap a dead battery for a fully charged spare.

The problem with 3.0 is iphone3g users have reported 3.0 really drains their battery.
I have the n97 and its battery is stronger then iphone3g,and its video recording is amazing.DVD quality when you view it cause n97 screen resolution and pictures are amazing.

can you really not make videos with the iphone 3g? with lots of other phones you can make videos so for a phone that is made out to be all that i find this hard to believe. so can anyone who owns one shed some light on this as I am actually looking to get the 3g

i have a iphone 3g, it's very good as a mobile phone but if you play a game for a long time,the phone stucks.it has very good quality of screen and also very good touch.the gps is very quickly and you can see in real time the klm of your car. buy the way is the most popular phone and i hope apple show us something more from 3gs.
