Hey i am interested in buying this phone,i checked the website and it seems that the new software3.0 update doesn'nt have a radio and still no bluetooth.
Is there maby other software you can download for these options?
i also read on one of the comments posted that you cant ue this phone as a modem.Is this true??
please help me ...I really like this phone

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2009Just got my new Iphone 3GS at Swisscom shop today. Had a look also at the N97, the Symbian OS... moreDear iPhone Fan I have a Nokia N95 and is a great Phone. Try to send a file from your iPhone to another phone or receive using Bluetooth, you won't. Nokia N95 is much better.

i downloaded the 3.0 update for my iphone 3G and feels like a brand new iphone again. iphone OS is far better than any mobile OS.

Just got the new 3GS, the touch focus feature is really cool, not only for focusing on a specific spot of the picture , but also for balancing the exposure in that specific area, so if you are taking a picture against a bright background, if you touch on the screen the area of a specific subject, not only it will come in sharp focus but also properly lit.
Works well also in the video mode, the quality is superb, never mind the mexapixels game....

im so happy with the 3.0 software update for my iphone 3G! It has included already an SMS Forwarding, cut, copy paste function, inclusion of voice memos, MMS, and others, check out www.apple.com to see for yourself. Iphone really rocks!

Yes, yes, you all got your own iPhones and your friend wants to see and touch its awesome touchscreen. Is it pricy and deserving? It is, but be wiser. The price tag of it overshadows the true potentials of several wonder phones (i.e. Omnia etc.). Parts too are pricy and the size is noticeable. Don't mind the tradition, oblige the truth not what is famous.

the N97 is far more a better device than the iPhone. to add on, in the iPhone, you can only have a vodaphone or airtel connection, but in the nokia, any sim will do. nokia is far more a trusted brand than the iPhone in india atleast.

2 guys at my workplace have the iphone 3g. 1 of them plays with it a lot.
I asked the other guy, do you go on the internet much(since he has a data plan)even though free wi fi at work(go figure) his response was "once in a while, eh novelty wore off"
Sounds like buyers remorse to me!

Just got my new Iphone 3GS at Swisscom shop today.
Had a look also at the N97, the Symbian OS looks terrible and is very unfriendly,
feels very thick in your hand.
The 3GS surfs unbelievable fast at 7.2 Gbps on the Swisscom network, the applications open and zip so fast with the 256 Ram.
Surfing on WI FI is also noticeably faster.
Great phone, the camera is also very good and the video al well.
Touch autofocus is VERY handy and works well and fast.
Typing is also improved A LOT with horizontal keyboard and best of all
I got it for only 99 CHF ( 83 $ ) on my existing monthly subscripion which is also an excellent deal.
Thank you Apple and Swisscom for providing such good service and a super fast internet in my pocket !!!

There are some wrongs at specifications. One of them is at messaging part. There is only SMS and Email. But It is possible to send MMS with iPhone 3G. This specification is added on 17 June 2009 with new software of iPhone which is OS 3.0 software. Second wrong is radio part. iPhone 3G has radio! Third wrong is at bluetooth part. there write this: 'Headset support only' But you can bluetooth for sending something, multiplaying game, using modem and headset
