Allan, 11 Apr 2009Go back to your copy cat iphone!Relieve yourself from your ignorance, Apple buys and supports great engineers, does not copy :
Wayne Westerman and John Elias are the two engineers who are responsible for much of Apple's multi-touch technology found in the iPhone and notebook trackpads. Westerman and Elias originally founded a company called Fingerworks (http://www.fingerworks.com) in 1998 and developed a number of multi-touch input devices including keyboards and touch-pads. Apple then acquired Fingerworks in 2005 and Westerman has been a senior engineer at Apple since. Many of the multi-touch patents coming out of Apple have since credited Westerman as the lead inventor.

The article states that apple may not have had the rights to use that technology(multitouch) at all. If they need the rights to use it, obviously they didn't invent it! Copy cats.
Yet they always accuse nokia of that.

AS for n97, I am done with nokia and moreover I don't like physical keyboard. I've been using nokia for a long time and I am neither very satisfied nor disappointed. They look good in paper but in real term, all their features are medicore. I think time has come to have sth different. And as for omnia hd, it is still a same old symbian...only with touch screen.
The choices i have now is ..new iphone or palm pre or win mobile 6.5. Lets see.
