Besides your Nokia can't change SIM's without turning it off and pulling your phone apart, the iPhone you just pop the drawer and switch sims, music keeps playing etc.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You don't need buttons, you think of a person and it calls them, it takes a bit of practice, just stare at the phone and think of someone...
...then slide the unlock across, tap the phone open the keypad (3rd one across) and put in the numbers.
You can even get rotary dialer Apps and dial a number.if you want.
the iphone is cheaper then the high end nokia phones, last time i check. look people, leave apple fan boys alone about their icrap which has nothing worth praising over. they are over hype because it's made in the good ol'u.s.a.. they either have to carry digital cameras or recorders because the phone don't have either, oops excuse me it has a camera but no flash. requires synching to itunes for everything. can't auto update for podcast w/out using itunes.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Must have been a reason you brought E 71 with you on a business trip. Iphone couldn't cut it eh!
Oh btw...to call iphone a phone is truly an understatement. I'd prefer to call it a platform/tool even for all the amazing applications available on itunes and cydia :)

Does anybody know if there's an iphone update coming out, or that already exists that allows it to do MMS?

Allan, 05 Apr 2009I guess when the iphone goes dead on a trip because you can't interchange the battery, people n... moreatleast we have better battery than nokias. nokia new phones have bad battery spcecially the n-series.
atleast apple gives us software updates to improve the features, or add more features. unlike you nokia users who needs to update software to fix bugs, errors because of a bad software. thats why we call nokias junky.
i use nokias my entire life.i got 6210 back in year 2000 as my first nokia, until n95 as i shift to SE p1i then quickly shift to iphone3g last year.
happy to have an iphone 3G, and 1 thing i learned using nokias for 7 years. nokia is all quantity not quality. they create phones with no big upgrade at all. all n-series phones are similar phones. camera mostly changes and of course the design, but nothing more. thats why nokia is the number 1 in sales, not because they have good phones but because they have many phones to sell. imagine every year they will have an average of 7-10 phones a year, about 15-20 phones for the last 2 years vs apple's 2 iphones for the last 2 years. its a fact that iphone 3G beats 5-nokia phone sales combined.
I guess when the iphone goes dead on a trip because you can't interchange the battery, people need a nokia(e71).
Not referring to anyone in particular though!
e71, handy to have on a business trip, qwerty, a flash for low light pics, records video. Usually even a 50 dollar phone can record video! e71 also has a loudspeaker that you can actually hear compared to the iphone, fm radio as well!

It's as simple as ... moreI have to disagree there, I don't believe it's jealousy I think people are just very naive. They haven't ever used an iPhone and just hate on it because of the hype surrounding it and the fact it has no MMS/Bluetooth. Sometimes you have to open you mind to new things instead of being very narrow minded.
Anonymous, 05 Apr 2009Just back from a business trip where I took along a second phone Nokia E71 with a second SIM. ... moreYou call it junk, but you bring it with you on a business trip.
I don't bring the iphone with me on trips!
I've been using my iphone 3G lightly for about 2 months. I've never dropped my phone or anything and I've been having problems with the plastic backing... While i was cleaning my phone I noticed a small hairline crack in between the vib switch and the chrome bezel. If anyone else is having this problem please reply, I want to know if this is happening to a lot of you guys out there or just me. Thanks
Anonymous, 05 Apr 2009So if your are just not interested why do you take the time to write here, stay in the forums ... moreWhy do you guys come into nokia forums. I see you immature you have to say other phones are junk.
