K$, 29 Mar 2009Hey guys i need help,FAST!! Next Friday I will be getting a new phone.. I am thinking of Nokia... moreiphone 3G.
no contest at all.
iphone has best multi touchscreen, 5800 touchscreen is the old resistive touch, not like the iphone's capacitive touch. iphone has ipod music player. better than 5800 music player. iphone has better material than 5800's cheap plastic material.
iphone's os 3.0 free update this june will even make it better.

pinoy, 29 Mar 2009hi..how can i know that the iphone is official unlocked? i bought my iphone in the philippines... moremy iphone is legally unlock and came from italy. i also has that same part number of yours. but part numbers only means where country your iphone came from, every country has its own part numbers. obviously your iphone came from italy maybe its unlock version, but i dont know where it came, TIM network sells it unlock, i dont know vodafone italy.. if it came from TIM definitely its unlock iphone. you can try it, if it gets locked then just go to a mall and many technicians can unlock it again.

I just can't wait to see new iphone. I am keeping my fingers crossed for this great news. Come on! apple..its time to kick some azzz...enough is enough...heard lot from so called iphone-basher. You got beautiful UI and software...do sth about hardware..better camers with flash, video capabilities and stereo speaker & some ports plus good battery life.
I am a pc guy and thinking of changing to Mac. I'll do this when new iphone comes....so that i can have new mac probook and new iphone....great combination!!! If no new iphone..no Mac either. Just praying for that.

your iphone is originally the apple iphone locked-to-a-network version. the store who sells it just unlocks it by a software, that is why you can use any simcard in it. when when you unlock an iphone you are hacking its software, and you are violating the apple software and warranty, and its not legal to do, that is why you cannot update its software, if you update, it will go back to its original default settings created by the manufacturer which is the lock to a network settings.
there are 2 kinds of apple iphone..
first is the apple iphone you bought to a network, and it will be lock to it, and unlocking it is hacking the apple software. definitely not legal to do and voids your warranty with apple.
the 2nd apple iphone is the original unlock version. it is legally unlocked the time it was manufactured. and apple sells the legally unlock version to only 6 countries. italy, france, germany, hongkong,taiwan and belgium.

rambles, 29 Mar 2009when will we be able to use the 3.0 firmware when can we send picture message.Sometime in June, in the meantime just attach photo's to emails.
I use an App called SendPhoto to attach as many full size photo's as I want.

See if you can take it back to where you got it from to see if they can fix it.

Need help.
I bought iphone 3G 16GB two days ago in my country ( Cambodia).That one was assemble in China. It worked with all phone card in here. It looks smart.
I connected to Itunes to syncronize. It send message to update to version 2.2.1 ( my iphone os version is 2.2). After updated my iphone can not be used any more.
It appears the message of non compatible sim card.
Please help.

nobody can just produce any application a... moreAn open market that has less available applications than the App store, even though it's only been around for eight months and WinMo applications have been around for years.
Then there's the issue of compatability with different versions and different hardware.
