I have nokia 5800 if we compare it with iPhone
quality of hardware of iphone is better
touch sensitivity is better then nokia 5800
mostly if we update the software of iphone its become faulty.
bluetooth is only for headphone not for file sharing.
camera is 2MP
while nokia 5800 touch sensitivity is normal.
camera is 3.2 MP.
applications are awailable easy on net.
GPS is available.
u can buy two nokia 5800 if compare the price.
battery is avail able easily also casing.
charger is avail able easily.

A new report from market research firm comScore shows that iPhone users in the United Kingdom accessed mobile media more than users of other smartphones. Overall, 93 percent of iPhone users accessed media in January 2009.
Report: iPhone generates more traffic than most phones
According to the report, 75.4 percent of iPhone users accessed email during the month, more than doubling the 35.4 percent usage of other smartphone users. News accessed from a Web browser was 79.7 percent for iPhone users, while 48 percent of other smartphone users did the same activity.
The App Store is clearly popular for iPhone users, too. Users that accessed news through an application downloaded from the App Store was at 55.6 percent, while only 22.1 percent of other smartphone users accessed news from a third-party application.
In fact, iPhone users handily beat out other smartphone users in every category. Social networking (iPhone 54.8 percent, other smartphones 29.6 percent); Weather (iPhone 55.5 percent, other smartphones 26.1 percent); and Web search (iPhone 55.1 percent, other smartphones 31.9 percent), were also measured in the report.

any phone that puts itself out there as an "Iphone Killer" is really just waiting to be destroyed by the Iphone. Sadly, no other phone could ever have as many apps available to it as Iphone. Also, the superior capacitive touch of the Iphone also trumps all other touchscreen phones. Its got almost the largest screen (Touch HD and others have like 3.8 inches) and the most responsive touch interface. Also with regards to specs, Iphone has a 500+ MHz processor. My cousin jailbroke it and was able to run PSX games on his Iphone. In truth, only a SYMBIAN phone with capacitive touch and large 3.5 in. screen could ever hope to defeat the Iphone. 5800 has resistive, automatic loss in points. :/

compare cheap 5800 and expensive iphone
5800 is nokia mid-range ts phone, n97 is nokia high end phone, 5800 serves as a test phone for n97 which will be launched in june this year.
5800 is cheap and more capable of doing many thing than iphone.
many 5800 users will go for N97.

you will see the difference how iphone makes 5800 a cheap looking phone.i was amazed when i saw nokia5800 in the store, the picture from the internet is hyped, they made 5800 look elegant, but when you see in actual, in a store, you will hate it. its a cheap looking phone.

iphone and 5800 are not the same.
iphone's touch is far better than 5800, iphone has multi touch, 5800 has resistive touch. no touchscreen phone today can match the iphone's touchscreen.
and iphone's music is an ipod music player, far better also that 5800 xpress music.
iphone has 1000 useful application vs nokia's useless downloads. and did you see 5800 material finish? its a cheap plastic. definitely not an elegant type of phone.

if yopu want a phone, get a phone, like a nkia 8800 arte, it owns all phones for phones, if you want summay apple go for a ipod touch, cant go wrong with them both, i love all things apple, other than the phone

Nokia is announced. Overall it will disappoint just like any other Nokia since the N95.
And if you are thinking this way, than there will be always something to wait for and you will never buy anything.
The iPhone on the other hand is here, proven and tested, here to least and well updated and with thousands of new Aps every month.

Nseries always has better spec! Sammsung does the same too! Fm radio receiver( pandora? What if you are not in wifi zone? And it consume battery powet quickly!) symbian has internet radio streaminh app too! Why dont have both in one device?
2mp then buy camera, why dont gofor 5mp camra carl zeiss len autofocus? Yes in one device n97
I want to use n97 as mobile phone computer!!!!!!
