The new iPhone will have a 16 megapixel camera with 300mm telephoto lens, it will have 4 terabytes of raid 6 storage, 8GB RAM quad quad core CPU's, a 30" capacitive touchscreen display and a 50,000 watt FM transmitter so you can have your own radio station using the supplied 10 meter collapsible aerial, sound will come from a 6000w RMS through a 15" subwoofer and six speaker surround system.
It will be powered by sixteen car batteries which will give 2 months talk time and eighteen months standby.
It will use a new technology based on laser projection so you can watch movies projected onto the moon.
Trolley optional extra.
The rumour could be wrong it's not from a very reliable source.

There is no camera phone that would be better than a standalone digital camera. So for you to say that the Omnia HD is (it's not even out), is just purely a fanatical remark (not to mention absurd). And to prove that you are ignorant, you said there is no digital camera that takes HD. Try my camera, the Canon PowerShot SD970 IS Digital Camera. It does take HD videos, and I'm sure there are others more =) Also, the fact that you would even challenge a digital camera in saying that the Omnia is better, is just totally STUPID =) If the iphone would have an 8mp snapper, make sure that Apple would put in a photo processor that would match, or at least produce results close to that of a standalone camera. Heck, the iphone can throw in there 12mp if they wanted to. But Apple is not about throwing in features just because they can (that would be Samsung, lol). It has to make sense, and for now, 2mp is enough with the kind of photo processor that they have for the iphone. You're crazy. Cell phones that focuses on camera features are called camera phones and not digital cameras, lol. I'm not saying that Samsung is lying as far as their claim that the Omnia can record videos in 720p. It's the QUALITY that I question. Photo quality does not purely rely on MP. Processors play a major role as well. And with today's technology, no phone manufacturer can squeeze in the power and technology of standalone digital cameras into a thin cellphone, unless you want a 2 inch thick cellphone, LOL. Digital cameras use XENON FLASH, not LED, hahahaha.
Movies are enjoyable to watch on bigger screens my friend. The bigger the screen, the more enjoyable watching a movie is. Now would I in my sane mind prefer to watch a movie on a 3.6 screen of my phone? Especially when I'm watching a movie with subtitles. Sorry, but it's just impractical. I only download music videos to my iphone NEVER movies. I might consider short films, or, I may download a couple of movies to my iphone, but I will not be watching it on my iphone. I will hook my iphone up to a TV so I could better watch the movie =) If my iphone had HD, I would say wow, just like I say wow to Omnia, but I will not make a big deal of it like you do because really, it's impractical. I will not carry my 50" TV with me when I am on the go, but I will definitely take my laptop with me when my plan is to travel and watch movies along the way. And I have a DVD collection. Omnia HD does not have a DVD player =) Again, if my iphone had HD, I would still save my movies for my 50" TV at home. I only watch music videos on my iphone.
With the iphone, battery replacement is even better. Either way, you have to buy the battery at the store. With the iphone, they replace the battery for you right there when you buy the battery at the Apple Store. They do it for you so you do not have to hassle yourself =) Now that's even better. I have nothing against phones with removable battery, but it is silly to rub that in especially when the iphone does not need a removable battery.
Unlocked phones jeopardizes warranty and service. It's better when you play by the rules =) But hey, it's your choice. I am happy with AT&T.
My iphone has 16gb of internal memory. I've had for a year now. I've only used 6gb. I don't need 32gb. You said "what if i need FM to hear my favorite country's stations", with Pandora, all you have to do is search that genre and it will play all country music songs commercial free. You can even rate it, that way Pandora can even narrow down song choices to your type of songs.

what the iphone 2MP has better image quality... moreLearn to read man, I said that the iPhone had better pictures because it actually exists. My point being that the Omnia HD hasn't been released yet, and until it is, then it remains only as specs.
Far out, I'm hardly trolling when I point out what current phones are available on the market at the moment.

of course the OmniaHD is as best as regular digital camera if not better. the irony is,there is no digital camera that takes HD videos. the 5MP omina is as best as my 7MP fujifilm, the fuji wins by the 2MP more because of the higher resolution that makes the picture sharper. if the iPhone had 8MP camera you would thrash your regular digital camera but since its Samsung, you say 2MP is enough for the iphone. please stop saying "phone camera" there is no such thing as "phone camera" its called "digital camera" integrated into a device form factor whether its phone or something else
HD video is 720p so what's your point ? are you saying that Samsung lies and its not real 720p so you can feel a little bit better about your decade old technology called "iPhone". if the iPhone had HD video recording you would thrash your video camcorder but since its Samsung, you say its not useful
most of digital cameras use LED flash but since its Samsung, you say LED flash is bad
since when watching a movie on a 3+ inches screen gives you headaches ? last time i heard most of iSheeps watch movies on their iPhone and ipod touch. if the iPhone had HD playback you would glow your eyes but since its Samsung, you say it gives you headaches.
i have 40 inch full HD LCD, are you gonna carry your HDTV with you ?. if the iphone had HD playback you would say i love watching HD videos on my jesus phone but since its Samsung, you say i watch HD on my Plasma TV
battery removable is important, replacing is easy hassle free, if the iphone had battery removable you would say it gives you the ability to change the battery in case of a fault or emergency but since its Samsung, you say iphone's battery It automatically resets. never heard of magically self healing batteries

what lol actually i have never had a problem finding unlocked Samsung phones, maybe you live in US i don't know but if that's the case sorry to tell you the iphone carrier is AT&T only.
Symbian OS60 is still under development, things like you said will be implemented. what you saw is a beta OS and there is enough applications that satisfy my needs(already in the phone) unlike the iphone. i have a life try and not to use 27k apps.
if the phone runs out of its 16GB internal memory it gives you additional 16GB external memory(combined 32GB)

A collegue of mine is getting married in a fortnight, and if we were to compare image quality of the wedding between the iPhone and the Omnia I'm sure the iPhone would win, because it is actually physically in my hand able to take the photos in the first place.
Not that it matters, I'll be taking an SLR... imagine that, using a camera to take photos, lol. I must say though, the iPhone camera is handy in that you can take a quick snap and upload it to Facebook instantaneously, converted to the appropriate size.
I am loving the fact that hardware is the only thing left to be attacked, and considering the comparisons are being made with phones with nearly a year difference in release date...

2 megapixel camera is enough for a phone. People still prefer to use digital cameras.
16 gb is more than enough for most people. If you require anything more than that. That would mean that a laptop would be more appropriate for your workload, not a phone.
You do not need to remove the battery with the iphone. It automatically resets in the event that it crashes.
Iphone does not have HD. So what? I have a plasma TV and a laptop to watch movies on.
On Java. I don't miss it on my iphone. It's mostly for ads anyway, and it sucks batt life. Java is not necessary on a phone.
On radio. The iphone has Pandora which is better than FM radio. Also, with the 3.0 OS, 3rd party apps can create radio apps.
On divx/wmv playback. Again, I watch movies at home on my 50 inch plasma TV, or my Mac book pro when I'm on the go. That is way better than watching a 2hr movie on a phone.
On secondary camera. Don't be ridiculous. No one uses video calls.
On LCD screen. Nothing wrong with this feature.
Samsung HD 8mp camera is still not close to digital camera photo and video quality. So it's really quite useless. So as its led flash, quite useless in the dark. With Samsung HD's 720p video recording, I still wouldn't use it to record videos of special occassions, lol. NO WAY. The iphone has 16gb internal memory, no need for an external memory. Removable battery is required for Samsung phones because removing its battery is the only way to reset it when it crashes, LOL.
Samsung HD does not have multi-touch. Zooming on photos and web pages would not be as smooth as the iphone. Samsung HD's touch UI and OS is inferior compared to the iphone. Meaning, user experience would not be as great as the iphone. Samsung does not have an app store with now 27,000 apps. Samsung does not have developers support as massive as apple's for 3rd party applications. Samsung does not have integration of services like the iphone has.
Samsung HD's concept is to be a portable TV, lol. Watching a 2 hr movie on a 3.6 screen would give me a headache. Also, why would I watch a movie on a 3.6 screen when I can watch it at home on my 50' plasma tv. And even when I'm on the go, I'd rather watch a movie on my laptop. Samsung HD concept is not practical. It is impressive, but not practical for the reasons that I have stated above. UI and OS is much more important than HD resolution on a phone.

Let's take a look at the 1000 APIs.
The things that devolopers can access include the 30 pin dock connector.
What this means is that virtually ANY piece of hardware that you can possibly imagine can be plugged in and the iPhone used as a controller.
It could be medical equipment, an AM/FM radio, a DSLR camera whatever you want controlled using the iPhone's multitouch interface.
There's more practically the same functionality also extends to Bluetooth and wireless, think of the possiblities!
Yet still people whine about sending ringtones or the usual cr*p

After reading that post about the omniaHD i decided to check it out on youtube... Nice size screen, a nice looking phone, 8 meg camera, touch screen etc, all seems great....but from what I just saw, the interface seemed terrible, really slow, no smooth interactions, personally it erm just dont seem that nice... Since the iphone has come out 2 yrs ago and patiented the best attibutes like multi touch etc, no touch screen has come close.... Wont even get into no one being able to match the iphone app store.

finally i will no longer use my pathetic digital camera fujifilm a700 7MP that last 10 minutes and my bulky video camcorder that can't shoot HD videos.
i can't wait for that alien technology to take 8MP(3264x2448)resolution photos and watch the beauty of it on my 1920x1200 samsung screen, take High Def videos im already imagining myself rolling on lsd
2MP(1600x1200)? LOL that looks noisy on my screen.
jealousy iSheep can only dream for that all in 1 sleek alien technology carrying it in a 1 jean pocket, handle it with 1 hand, control it with 1 finger.

Allan, 20 Mar 2009Having auto focus and a flash also makes a big difference which the iphone has not!Gosh, and now since the iphone has included mms, a2dp and copy/paste, haters are again going back to the 2mp argument, lol.
Again, 8mp on a phone is cool, but 2mp is actually enough for a phone. You wouldn't know the difference between the two until you start blowing them up. But if your intention is to blow up a photo, why in the hell are you using a camera phone? Well I guess if you do not have a digital camera like most people do, that would make sense. But just because you're too cheap to buy a digital camera, you cannot set a standard for phones to have 8mp cameras and call a phone inferior just because it only has 2mp, lol.

only those who still has the legal and original software by manufacturer can update to 2.2, or 3.0
meaning those originally locked iphones and those originally unlock iphone versions can update the software.
if you unlock it by some software out there its already called HACKED SOFTWARE. its not legal and not authorize by apple because you are hacking their software!! that is why if you update the software it goes back to its original default settings. w/c is being locked to a network, or if your iphone is originally the unlock versions by apple,it will stay unlock! you guys should first understand all before buying a phone. its stupid to just go and unlock it not knowing anything about the consequences if you jailbreak or unlock your phone.
