i can accept it, besides i dont use camera of a phone much.
buy the unlock version. i got mine brand new and sealed.
i activated it myself and i opend the sealed box myself at home. its unlock, i am using a smart sim. i updated the software.
if you buy from there its locked to them.
i guess spending that much 43,500php to a lock phone is not fair. i cannot use it abroad.. only here.
bad deal.

how much did you pay for it?
i bought mine in an online gadget based in manila. they sell all kinds of apple products, like macbooks, ipods,iphones, apple desktops. they are authorize sellers with warranty, they are ordering it also from apple in italy. i ordered it, they delivered it at my place. it cost 38thou iphone 3G 16gb.

How do you save a new contact or just the number during a call? I tried pressing the keypad mode during the call but when the call ended the number that I just entered disappeared too?

This phone is perfect for fun but if you want some usefull properties, then this phone is useless. It does not have a bluetooth and mms. Cameras MP is too low for its price. You can take good photos but just not enought. Samsung i8910 Omnia HD got better features but its menu is not as goog as iPhone3G if they have done a menu line iPhone, Samsung i8910 Omnia HD will be the best but its menu is so simple and boring.

i have seen many iphones in sm megamall one in globe that is definitely lock to them and the other by some store who sells it unlocked. i ask them where they got it they told me they got it from the u.s. and its lock to at&t, that their technician unlocks it.
the rule is never buy an iphone when the box is not sealed. if its not sealed its definitely opened and unlocked only by the store technician.
meaning you cannot update its software version because it will lock again.
they bought it to apple abroad sealed and lock, what they do is opened it, unlocks it by their technician and put it back to the box and sell it.
thats the history of the illegally unlocked iphone.
mine, i bought mine box is still sealed with plastic and never opened, im the one who opened it at home. and its unlock. i activated it, done ready to use.

Indonesian carrier Telkomsel will be offering the iPhone 3G on March 23, and Maxis will launch it in Malaysia on March 20. The Apple iPhone 3G will be selling for nearly $800-900 USD and only can be purchased with credit card.
