Anonymous, 10 Mar 2009Iphone has no official skype! But n97 has it at q3 2009 fully implemented at its osSkype locks you in to one provider, Fring and others don't.
Just like Flash locks everyone into using Adobe from developers to end users.
Nokia is getting more and more closed in every day, I prefer the freedom of iPhone.
You can keep your proprietary standards.
Besides the N97 is a piece of old junk compared to the Samsung Omnia HD, it runs the same OS so should be able to install the same software, unless Nokia wants to further restrict people's freedom.

yasrji, 10 Mar 2009hi, could anybody tel me how do i install or uninstall program from iphone,and how can i find ... morefor installing go to app store on youre iPhone you can find any program you want!!
For uninstalling programs hold youre finger for 2 of 3 seconde on of the icons and a x wil appear in the left upper corner of al the icons touch the x and its uninstald!!
For messenger go to appstore and search for nimbuzz!!

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2009can you get SKYPE on the phone? Does it simply download?Fring is better it let's you use Skype AND other providers.

What I'm trying to find out is how is the screen being light from behind? Is lit by LCD's or some other technology? And if the answer is 'some other techology' then what is that other technology?

bluetooth and video call is not everything... before i use iphone, i used a phone that has the video call..and it's USELESS.... u can count with ur finger, how many times u use the video call in a week or even a month...
and about the camera, if u want nice quality, buy the real camera, dont use ur phone...but a canon or nikon DSLR and u will be satisfied much more than ur HTC camera..
now im using iphone 3G, and im totally satisfied with it...its really exciting and not boring...

You may as well get the Samsung Omnia HD, it d... morewell, i'm replying to her (K), her choice is only HTC and iphone, OMNIA is not included, so pls stay on the topic. well it just that iphone is fully purpose for entertainment, and i need not only the entertainment that's why i feel that those disadvantage iphone has is really serious (especially the bluetooth cant do file transfer which i use frequently and camera cant do video recording not only unable to do video call).. but, it's all back to her, if she don't mind everything i mention there, iphone is the best choice for her. so pls understand what i'm trying to do.

Anonymous, 08 Mar 2009There are 23,000 applications available for WinMo, as Steve Ballmer proudly proclaimed at the ... morelol.... Thats only what they know of, there is lot more Apps out there than that... if u can mimick an iphone in a WinMo device... it adds to it already!!
