Because apple doesnt care what you want and they wont do half these features if they didnt already, especially stylus input, physical keyboard, MMS, sms forwarding, dual keyboard. If you dont like what apple have made gtfo and move on because they dont care about you.

Tif Tif, 05 Mar 2009Hey there I own the Omnia i900, and ill give you my personal opinion.. The Omnia is great p... moreThanx Tif. So the omnia is better than the iphone (I rely on bluetooth and MMS as well so pretty much a clear cut answer). The question is the HTC touch HD better than the omnia - I am still leaning heavily towards the HTC even though its about 2.5 times more expensive here. I am familiar with the HTC environment even though some things bug me (the slowness/lag and the phone capability). So maybe my mind is already made up :)
Anonymous, 05 Mar 2009What shutdown? Have you heard of torrent downloading?torrents are not owned and operated by global multi-billion dollar corporations, it happened to the app store and it only survived because of apples moderation of it (google tris)
Anonymous, 05 Mar 2009What shutdown? Have you heard of torrent downloading?a nokia app store with nobody saying which apps can and cant be sold would get shut down, because veryone wants doom for their phone and shit to be o those type of thing (it happened with the apple app store btw, people made tetris like games and got em taken off) torrents are not run by big multi-billion dollar companies and are alot harder to sue and shut down then nokia
Sir Josiah, 04 Mar 2009No... its just rumours. Apple don't say what they are working on. They keep it as a surprise a... moreit would be a real kick in the teeth to apple fans and devotees plus anyone else who bought the iphone 3g if they released a brand new model this year, as most people had to get it on a 2 or more year contract, i think the best you will see is maybe a 32gb version, maybe in different colours or a mini iphone this year.
Anonymous, 04 Mar 2009Why nokia 5800 users need to access to apple app store? It is not compatible and the apps in ... moreyeah and then it will get shut down 3 weeks later because of all the copywrited material people will put up
Cyril J Bento, 04 Mar 2009Guys this is the most inconvenient phone I've ever used apple iphone 16GB(without 3G) which is... moreno as a poster youre a total waste, the iphone is a brilliant piece of technology that cut the outdated crud of the past
Tif Tif, 05 Mar 2009Hey there I own the Omnia i900, and ill give you my personal opinion..
The Omnia is great p... moreYou forgot to mention that the Omnia has only 80MB of phone memory which can restrict what you can do with it and lead to stupid 'out of memory' errors when obviously you have lot's of free space in the two areas of mass memory, Symbian is the same, it can be annoying to manage.
The iPhone just has memory.
Grant, 03 Mar 2009Which is better? Apple Iphone, Samsung Omnia i900 or HTC touch HD - I understand a difficult o... moreHey there I own the Omnia i900, and ill give you my personal opinion..
The Omnia is great phone tho you cant really compare it to the IPhone seeing as they both run off different systems, being a MAC mobile and a Windows mobile, that choice comes down to personal preference..
The features of the phones is another thing, if you rely on bluetooth and MMS's then dont go for an Iphone, it doesnt have the ability to send files via bluetooth phone to phone, as for MMS its not a feature actaully on the phone but there are ways around it if you buy a specific app. The Iphone more concentrates on its push email to send an recieve pictures.
Both pohnes come in 8GB and 16GB another upside tho only minor upside to the Omnia is that it can have up to 32GB in it so another 24GB for and 8GB omnia or 16GB for a 16GB, tho it is only minor seeing as 8GB or 16GB should be more than overkill for a phone,
Iphones are great however my best friend has one and I love it there are endless possiblities for both phones so, it really comes down to choice of preference and the applications the phone is needed to do,
Me and my best mate both work in the Telecommunications Industry ^_^
iphone buyer, 05 Mar 2009sir josiah tnx very much about messaging..but can you pls tell me how iphone works with file t... moreYou need iTunes to transfer music you download it from Apple.
Any music from your PC can be added to the iTunes library, most of it can be synced to your iPhone, if it can't (wmv, flac etc) you can right click in iTunes and convert it.
You can download software such as iRinger to make your own ringtones.
iTunes also syncs your contacts etc with Outlook and makes back-ups of the iPhone.
Almost everything gets saved in a back up, paired bluetooth devices, SMS, call records, wifi logins, etc.
sir josiah tnx very much about messaging..but can you pls tell me how iphone works with file transfering?can i transfer music from mu pc(with windows xp)or it has to be from mac?and are all music files supported?
iphone buyer, 04 Mar 2009what about messaging??in the preview they said that you cant sending SMS messages...sadly........ moreNo... you can definitely send SMS, lol.
SMS to single and multiple contacts is supported. MMS isn't, but there is apps in the App Store that allow you to do this, or you could just email them, which is free.
Forwarding SMS isn't supported either, though we'll see how much a priority this is of Apple's come next software update. In reality though, if they bring in copy/paste you won't need to forward messages anyway. *Shrugs*
Hope this clears things up
chino.sr, 03 Mar 2009can anyone tell me if the apps of this phone cant install on the itouch?? are there is a diffe... moreThe apps are the same yes, but you can get better apps for the iphone (Some apps work better on it) and some are made purely for the iphone.
what about messaging??in the preview they said that you cant sending SMS messages...sadly.....is that true anyway..maybe i didn understand that but ok.
A gaping loophole in Android operating system on the T-Mobile G1 has been exploited by hackers who managed to jailbreak the Google phone. Although they do say that this jailbreak isn’t as impressive as the one that took place on Apple’s iPhone, which took several weeks for the hackers to get though the locks that was placed on the iPhone, the T-Mobile G1 open-source operating system only took the hackers one minute to gain root access, although you would reckon you would have to be a Linux geek to do it this fast.
You can see the hack for the G1 on the XDA-Developers forum, basically you use the PTerminal application to telnet to the device’s IP address and just like magic you how have the root, you can full steps on this hack here.
With this jailbreak it will allow to run your T-Mobile G1 like it was never intended to be. Google have said they are planning a patch that will be distributed to close the loophole.
