Repairs are a lot better with Apple they are usually completed within a week in comparison the turn around time for Nokia repairs is 3-4 weeks.
Customer satisfaction is very high with this phone, most of the time people come back to buy accessories which makes more for me!
Krishna, 03 Mar 2009Hi Members,
I here that this year APPLE IPHONE HD is going to release in JUNE, Did anybody ... moreNo... its just rumours. Apple don't say what they are working on. They keep it as a surprise and the day after the release they make millions in the instant hype they generate doing so. The marketing behind it is genius.
With that said, June will be a year on from the iPhone 3G release, hence the assumption that there will be a model to replace it, but as I said, no one knows. There is a MacWorld Expo soon where there will be announcements of Apple's new products and who knows, it could be released then. There is a major software update due in April, which is apparently (hopefully) featuring copy/paste. And with the App Store, the iPhone gets updated every day. Every time I download a new App it becomes a different phone, yet I don't need to fork out for a new handset.
With that all said, Q4 at the least is looking to be the most logical guess for a new release. It is around 18 months on from the original iPhone release, so those of us who got iPhones on release will be able to get an early upgrade (cheaply if not free) to the new handset.
Any new iPhone from Apple will have to exceed that of the 3G to be considered a success, and that means as many sales as possible. The longer they hold off, the more 3G customers who will be eligible to upgrade, meaning more sales for Apple.
I hope this clears up any confusion surrounding the issue.
One final note... remember that when the 3G came out the new OS was a free upgrade for original iPhone owners... it should be the same for the next iPhone. The only difference will really be aesthetics, possibly camera and memory, and if the last two don't bother you (for example, 8 gig is more than enough) then I'd say go get an iPhone now.

I would tell you where to go, you are a very poor salesperson, what gives you the right to make decisions for people.
You won't get far by pushing people onto substandard products they don't want in the first place.
can anyone tell me if the apps of this phone cant install on the itouch?? are there is a difference between them?? please let me know,i want to buy 1.

Stantum resitive multitouch, oh god!!!!
Has anyone else jeard rumours that the iPhone will be available in the UK on Vodafone sometime this year?.. Can anyone confirm or deny this please?
Which is better? Apple Iphone, Samsung Omnia i900 or HTC touch HD - I understand a difficult one to call because of differences in prices and specs. I'm just trying to figure which one I should go for - I'm leaning towards the HTC because the apple doesnt have GPS for south africa and bluetooth is limited. The omnia doesnt have the same touch capibilities as the other two (stylus vs finger). I have the HTC tytn and I havent been too impressed (lag/phone capability is poor/etc) but am thinking better the devil you know than what u dont know :). Any other perspectives?

Iphone is no longer good these days, because its patents are scewed by other smart guys out there!
If apple want to be rhe king of mobile phone, first thing to do is to remove their stupid app store limitation
iphonesucks, 03 Mar 2009i phone is already burried by the sony xperia and nokia 5800
apple needs to step up the nex... moreApple don't mention new models until a lot closer to release date, in the case of iPhone's usually around June.
Although there are whispers of some pretty big announcements coming from Apple on March 24...
...as to whether there will be anything about the iPhone or not, we'll just have to wait and see.

Resistive screens wear out, they are plastic which is softer than glass, using a stylus wil leventually scratch them.
To use the Stantum multitouchn on a resistive screen you need specialized hardware as it says near the end of the article.
The 5800 is a joke, a million faulty earpieces waiting to fail,
American model withdrawn from sale,
If you're thinking of Nokia,
It's time to bail!
pinoy, 03 Mar 2009whats is the difference between resistive and capacitive?
pls helpresistive touch is much superior than capacitive toouch
resistive can do handwriting, and multitouch on resistive too from stantum, it is a new technology, many people thought only capacitive can do multitouch, but now this is not true, it is a piece of software runnung on resistive.
Nokia can go multitouch on resistive screen!!!!!! but not sure if it infringe the apple patents, but i am sure nokia users will hack it to have multitouch on Nokia screen, Googlr phone capacitive screen is capable of doingv multitouch, they are afraid of being sued by apple. so let hack Google phone too
