pinoy, 03 Mar 2009whats is the difference between resistive and capacitive? pls helpResistive touch is based on actual physical contact, meaning it can be used with gloves or with a stylus, but that the interface navigation will not be as good, sometimes even buggy and they wear out. Capacitive touch is based on conduction of electricity through your fingerTIPS. Your nail won't do anything, neither will a stylus. It also allows for MUCH more natural and dynamic navigation (If you've ever used an Iphone, and then any OTHER touch screen phone, you'll notice the difference). IMO, capacitive is MUCH better, and so is the Iphone :)

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You should get the Samsung i8910 N97 killer instead.
What is easier to scratch glass or plastic?
The iPhone screen will scratch less than other phone screens unless you carry diamonds in your pocket.
I dumped my Samsung I850i to buy the Iphone. The Iphone is not just a cell phone, It is an experience. I never thought a cell phone can be so much fun. This is truly a great phone. My only complaint is getting used to the Keyboard and the camera not being so hot. I highly recommend this phone..
what? iphone is not scratch proof?but it said to the specification of the phone here at GSMARENA...it said that the iphone is a scratch proof phone...
gosh..im planning to buy it,bec,i thought it is a scartch proof jst like GSMARENA specification said..
Miko, 01 Mar 2009Question to those of you who own this phone: Is it possible to record the phone call? pleas... moreGo take a look at the ApStore. You can do that on thru the Apple website. I am sure that there is an application for recording and managing the recorded conversations (like attaching to email… ).
If new i phone has the same spec as n97 or other high end phone, the king of mobile phone!
I heard that a new Iphone is going to release in june or july, with a better spec high resolution, and higher storage capacity. If this news is true?
Multitouch is so powerful enough that other mobile manufavturers are afraid of Apple?
Why patent? Apple need some compition! To meake them move faster to give their customer a same similar spec as n97, idou and omnia hd and htc touch pro!
I just hatr patents!
Resistive touch is not at all good in comparison with capacitive touch. Its not even just the multitouch that makes it better, it just feels more natural to swish around menus than it would on a resistive touch. Resistive often leads to accidental presses and buggy interface.
The same iPhone but thinner and comes with even more memory to store applications.
Question to those of you who own this phone:
Is it possible to record the phone call? please confirm.
This function is important to me for my work because I get order numbers while I'm driving. Recording the work related calls have been a great help in my sony ericsson w880.
i have omnia i900..im planning to buy iphone 3g for my alternate/backup phone..
what color would i choose? white or black?...and why u said so?
