It all depends on what you are looking for in a phone. I owned an iphone and my biggest problems with it was the camera was bad, I could not get songs via bluetooth, I had to put songs on it via itunes, the external speakers were bad, and the camera was average and had no flash. I then got a SE W960i which on paper is very similar to the iphone and then I realized how wonderful the UI is in the iPhone.
The point is that the iPhone as a multimedia phone has SEVERAL shortcomings (No autofocus or flash on camera, no FM Radio, several limitations out the box but apps can provide functionality) but with the growing appstore and UI people seem to not mind.

I have about five years of experience in repair of mobile phones. Because of that I can really compare all the various models out there.
I must say that from all the phones out there iPhone is ABSOLUTELLY THE BEST what you can get! I am not a fan of any brand, this is the simple truth. Of course you may not like the iPhone for some reasons, and that is fine, but it is the best phone you can get.
- best build quality (electronics and housing is good as well)
- best UI
- with the available 20000+ aps you have virtually endless possibilities like the much argued copy+paste issue, or you can use your iPhone to be a remote control to your HIFI, share files wirelessly with AirShare….play some of the best games for mobile phones ever. These aps are why the iPhone will become a legendary and lasting product while all other phones come and go
- very good camera for normal everyday use. If you need pro pictures than use a digital camera
- best internet experience
and so on...
There was never a phone that impressed as like this one. Every phone has some good and bad side, but iPhone is simply the BEST!

I do not think so it is even 1 MP. LG you are the WEEKEST LINK with you 5 MP viewty.

I must say even though the iphone only has a 2 mp camera its still a lot higher quality than most others out there, take the blackberrys for example with 3.2's, the iphones shots are sharper, higher contrasts and an overall more natural color tones. a lot of people don't seem to realise that more megapixels doesnt always mean better photos, in some cases it does but not the majority.

The answer, yes I can.
The TV on the N96 is not supported here or in lots of other places.

dont forget that business people also use the e-series line up....e71 and some of the n-series line up. here in the US the iphone is more of a toy, rather than the a business smartphone.

I guess that would explain why Nokia lost 15% of it's smartphone marketshare last year and they are closing labs and cutting back on R&D expenditure in Finland.

n96 and n97 are capable of that (also the n85). now thats what you call a multi-media device. they are worth it for their price. you probably cant afford them.

Majority of kids nowawdays own an iphone, therefore it is more a kids toys.

It doesn't do other childish things like MMS and sharing your latest Britney ringtone with the other kid's with bluetooth.
I use my phone for business, I don't need another Nokia kid's toy.

at least it is useful, not useless like the iphone. u say the iphone takes a decent shot? because it has a big screen!!! without autofocus and a great lense the quality is still not up par with the n95 and the 5800.
