mp, 17 Jan 2009i updated facebook for i phone which is compatible for version 2.2 but my phone has version 2.... moreHave you updated it in iTunes yet?

You might still have the old version, if you delete it off the phone then sync it should put it back.

If you have updated it in iTunes, the old version might still be in your recycle bin, you can probably get information on how to do this on the Apple support forums.

You might have to contact the developers, go to the App store where you leave comments.

Like the 52% of Nokia 5800 users having issues with the speaker volume during calls, as was mentioned in the review on this site!

I suppose you want to recommend that half finished piece of junk as an alternative to the iPhone?

          Grow a brain.

After all you keep whining about Flash support and Opera Mini doesn't support it.

As if I'd want to waste my bandwidth downloading resource hungry Flash ads, I block flash on my PC anyway.

Anonymous, 17 Jan 2009Stupid app store restriction! Firefox and opera mini was banned! and many great developer do ... moreYou should be banned too, LOL. There are a lot of awesome apps from the app store. Unfortunately, so will get rejected by Apple for reasons they only seem to know. But at least they have an app store that offers thousands and thousands of both silly and useful apps, and developers do get accounted for and get credit for their work. What's junk is your mentality =)

Iphone has a decent camera. For the 1,000,000th time, it does not need MMS because it can email. It's the sleekest phone out there so they can only do so much. Other phones are getting lots of complaints as well, so deal with it.

Unfortunately, there are bitter people around me like you, who envy my iphone so much because they can't afford it =) Out of the almost 20,000 apps, of course there would be some silly ones, but so what? Don't load those apps then. There are thousands of other apps that are great, get those =) I find the gps on my iphone very useful many times already. I never got lost. Maybe it's you who is having a hard time following very simple directions =) Hey blondie, you email a photo to an email address, not to the iphone, lol. Apple sold more units than they expected, so I guess they're clearly successful. The iphone has so much cool apps that I just can't live without it. The app store is awesome, safe and a convenient way of loading 3rd party apps into your iphone. You can now even upload other 3rd party web browsers into the iphone, but I am happy with safari so I don't see the point. No wonder the rest of the pack are starting to build their own app store. It's because Iphone is the bomb.

It takes about 2 seconds, and it takes longer with other phones, so please. We don't need MMS because we can email. Taking videos using a phone is alright, but it is way better to take a video using our digital cameras, so thanks but no thanks. Not being able to forward sms or a contact phone number is kind of a bummer, but that would no longer be an issue once copy/paste will be implemented on the iphone in the next 2.3 firmware update which will come in Feb. Honey, the zippo lighter is only one out of the almost 20,000 apps on the app store, so please =) Again, we can email photos taken by the iphone, no need to MMS. BTW, the 2mp takes decent photos comparable to any 5mp cameraphones. The iphone offers other more helpful and useful features than MMS, SMS forwarding and video capture that keeps us busy with it. The iphone is an awesome device, but your attempt to pull it down is useless because millions have already bought it =) The pain in the rear are bitter and envious people like you who come in here and post nonsense =) There was never an instance that the iphone refuses to charge, lol. You're just desperate =)

BTW, I just bought my brand new MacBook Pro and it's the best. I can't believe I waited this long. Apple is awesome =)

If you don't want to buy anything from Apple, suit yourself. Who cares?! :)

Yesterday Thailand Introduce the Iphone 3G through True Move provider. It was the most Joke of the my life time. They had about 5000 to 10,000 people in line for mroe than 4 hours wating doing thigns such as file out papers adn copy docoments. By about after 4 hours you get to the almost end of the line they say no Iphone. You need approval loan by Bank to give you Iphone. They were turning away almsot 95% of the customers away. What a deal Apple made in Thailand. It is better to by the phoen out side at Black market MBK unluck instead of get through True Move. Steve Job need to look in to this deal at Thailand. Not good for Iphone.

You bought this phone not bothering to check out the specifications. No, no better yet, you SIGNED a CONTRACT for a phone you had NO idea about? Why would you do that? That is in no way a smart decision, and not one you should blame Apple for. If you don't like what it doesn't do go buy something else. Everyone here knows what it lacks, but most of us bought it anyway and the rest bought something they liked more.

This is not a place for a whinge-fest, no one wants to hear it. You acted naively, you live with the consequences.

Marsbar, 16 Jan 2009Yep you can not make a video on the phone and you can not send mms, the iPhone is a cool gadge... moreI'm confused... how can the 5800 XpressMusic be more of a phone than the iPhone. Surely its obvious where its features lie.
You Nokia guys are all the same, dissing iPhone users about buying a hype driven phone and then rushing out to buy the 5800 and, one would assume the N97, except, whats this? It isn't even out yet?
Hypocracy isn't a good tool to have in a debate, which this forum has quickly become. If you wan't to talk about Nokia, there is a lot of other, more tolerant people who would love to listen... let us iPhone users discuss apps and our opinions, like this forum was meant for.

The music functions are good, as long as itunes is up to date. and the camera i could live with. but there are many basic things missing. and emailing photos to people who neither have nor want an iphone is a pain in the rear too. apples pathetic attempt to overtake the world due to the necessity of sending and receiving mail clearly isnt working. so back to the drawing board. there is nothing on this phone that i'm unable to live without, or even mildly useful in making my life easier. i've spent a fortune downloading applications that are just as bobbins as the phone. all i can say is that i'm eager for my contract to end.

I was amused with the fact that the screen flips when you rotate the phone for around 2 mins before getting bored and realising that the phone i had waited for ages to get was actually bobbins. no mms. no video. you cant even forward a text message and as yet i havent managed to find if and where to forward the number of one contact to another. yeah some of the functions are cool. most are pointless. i mean, who needs an iphone zippo lighter that you can flick open by flicking the phone (flick, woo, flick, woooo....bored) which doesnt actually light anything (obviously) when you cant even text a photo taken with the pretty crappy camera installed on it. But when you cant even perform basic functions that even the most rubbish tesco's own brand have on them now like message forwarding and video recording, it rapidly takes the shine off the other capabilities.

you'd save yourself a lot of time and money buying an ipod touch and adding the necessary applications through which you can make calls. (yes you read that right).

at the end of the day it's a pretty item. but also pretty useless. and a complete pain in the rear end if your itunes isnt up to date by even 12 hours after which the phone itself refuses to charge or work and leaves you stranded 300 miles from home, and 50 miles from anywhere in the early hours of the morning.

                              thanks apple.

but think about what you make next cos you'll need to really impress the customers you ticked off with your last ridiculous effort.

won't be buying ANYTHING apple branded again.

What about the web browser, the GPS, the multi touch screen and the apps?? Go on itunes and check out the apps you can get and you'll see why the iphone is the best! And another thing, cell phone cameras are cheap ok. Do yourself a favour and buy a point and shoot camera. Lastly, the iphone has been on the top for quite some time. The iphone 3g only has gps and 3g added. Otherwise its the same iphone. The other companies are only now starting to produce something similar. Next time think before you post.

Here is what they have accomplished without MMS and bluetooth connectivity :
A banner on Apple's front page proclaims that the App Store has surpassed 15,000 available applications and 500 million downloads. The milestones come just over six months after the App Store's debut.

Ronell, 16 Jan 2009Love the looks. Sorry about the mms. Here is the reason why you would not need MMS on your iphone. Iphone has email at no extra cost with more reliability than MMS. Let's say you have 5 group pictures with 10 people in the pictures, and they all want you to send them those pictures. You would be sending 5 pictures to 10 people. That would be 50 MMS messages. Do you know how much extra charges you'd incur to send those pictures via MMS, when you can email those through your iphone at no extra cost. Please think.
