Why would you work for Vodafone and have an Optus mobile?

Sense: That makes none

The post I made with more details is waiting to be approved by a moderator.

Maybe my one took longer because it was a seed unit from Accord.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970It does if you enter an iPhone IMEI, it says not available at the moment and asks how to would like to be contacted, that was the reason for the two day delay, presumably for Vodafone to contact Apple and arrange it.

Anonymous, 10 Jan 2009No Java Midp on this super expensive phone? wow.. Zz..ZzNo java, that's like crying about not being able to play a Sega Master system game on an X-Box 360.

Give me the top notch games and applications from the App store any day, there is no comparison.

Firoz, 09 Jan 2009I just got the iphone 3G and compared to other phones, it lacks alot of daily usage options li... moreDaily usage options? First of all, those daily options that you are talking about is not a daily chore for everyone. Secondly, if you use those features daily, then why in the hell did you buy the iphone and complain? Copy and paste is included in the upcoming 2.3 firmware update. You can sms from a call received, so you are wrong in saying that it can't. You can also forward an email, so again you are wrong in saying that it can't. Are you sure you bought an iphone? LOL.

Heath, 08 Jan 2009same here mines unlocked as well but im with optus, they said that if i sign up to a 12 or 24... moreYes, that is true. When you buy a contract phone, they are unlocked, hence why you can buy them outright. Prepaids however are locked to their respective networks.
The reason being, if you, as you said, signed up to Optus for 24 months on a contract, we don't care what you do with the phone, we still get money from you for the length of the contract. However, if you buy it Prepaid, then sure, we get the sale, but whats saying you can't just take it to Vodafone. They are locked so you have to buy the Telco's credit.

Understand?

Firoz, 09 Jan 2009I just got the iphone 3G and compared to other phones, it lacks alot of daily usage options li... moreYou can forward email, I do it all the time there is a forward icon at the bottom of the screen, you can also email a link from Safari.

Either you don't know how to use it or you don't even have one, if you raelly did buy it maybe you should have checked the several thousand comments telling you what it can't do first.

They are right here at this site you are posting your sad story on.

Firoz, 09 Jan 2009I just got the iphone 3G and compared to other phones, it lacks alot of daily usage options li... moreyou see what iphone does not have but you didnt see what it has which is more than any other phones has.
some phones puts all the features but with less quality of that features and very complicated to use and call it a smartphone, thats ugly..
a smartphone is easy to use and has the best quality in what it has.
iphone is touchscreen phone, not just a ordinary touchsreen like any other phone but the best touchsreen ever made. its also an entertainment device, and i think the most entertaining phone today. you never browse a phone before like you browse the iphone because its entertaining. also has the widest screen than any other phone, very easy to use ones you learn it, unlike any other not-so-smart phones that is very complicted. its also an internet device, and its the best internet phone device today.
it may have less but what it has gives you the best quality and satisfaction.
