Iphone it's just aspect , couldn't compare to and Omnia or diamond and many more.
Like u said some details makes the diffence , like have bluetooth that only works with headset, no mms , no video call .
Have an bmw with 500hp and i can't drive it for more than 100 miles what for ?

Why do you think iphone needs to play WMA? Windows???!!! I prefer to wait for any version of windows mobile supporting more than 56k color!!! windows has a long way to go in multimedia!

Also itunes and all updating and installing through appstore and cydia. FANTASTIC PHONE AND SUPPORT!!
btw Copy/paste and mms can be with additional programs used on iphone(swirly mms, CopierciN).
I think,apple will integrate those features in new build of MAC OS.

The iphone is like a brand new BMW... for those who have never owned it or never really driven it consider it just another car, but for show-offs or posers etc. and may think a toyota/honda etc. does the same thing (drive you around) so its the same thing... but once you get in to a bmw and spend a little of time in there, things are completely different, the smallest details can change the way you thought of driving...

It's legibility under direct sunlight. I walk everyday as part of my daily exercise, and you can use the iphone under direct sunlight and would have no problem whatsoever reading what's on the display even with your shades on. Now that is one awesome quality. Nokia shares that same quality for sunlight legibility, although the iphone is a tad better. This is a quality that most consumers don't even think about, yet is very helpful.

This is an awesome phone. Had it for over a month now and I am still loving it. There are people who complain about some missing features. Well all I can say is, the iphone may be missing those features, but it does offer a lot of other more useful and important ones as well, so for me, it's still worth the buy. Also, there are alternative features with the iphone that pretty much does the same thing as some of those missing features do.
On MMS, there other other ways of sending picture messages. There's email, and the iphone does have that feature, and it's actually more reliable than MMS.
As for BT headset, the iphone does come with very good quality audio earphones which actually deliver better audio quality than most, if not all, BT headsets. The iphone also has an application called AirShare where you can drag and drop files from your PC to your iphone wirelessly, which I find more effective than BT file transfer.
The only two missing features that there is no alternative with the iphone are SMS forwarding and copy/paste. But who knows, maybe Apple will hear all our pleas and can include those two features in one of their future firmware updates. As for my needs, I can function just fine without those, but, if SMS forwarding and copy/pasting is part of your routine, I strongly discourage you to buy this phone.
As for its two megapixel camera. Well, for people like me who still prefer a digital camera as my primary camera, the iphone's 2mp is enough as a backup, and it does take decent pictures. So it's not really a deal breaker for me. But again, if you intend to use your phone as your primary camera, the iphone is not ideal for you, but then again, good luck with the quality of results of pictures and videos taken from a camera phone. Based on my experience, I'm not satisfied with their results. But I guess for people who do not own digital cameras, it would be good enough.
Now here are some features that I find more helpful and useful on the iphone that are not commonly found on other phones. 1. Beautiful design, build and quality; 2. Scratchproof glass display; 3. Crisp and clear half VGA 3.5 display where viewing photos and videos are just great; 4. Great ipod; 5. Wonderful web browser even w/out Java support; 6. Tons of reliable and helpful apps. Good thing about it too is that it sends automatic updates for your downloaded apps for improvement. W/ other phones, you're left on your own; 7. Innovative multi-touch UI/OS and functionality that works effortlessly and smoothly. I believe no other phone can beat the iphone on this realm, not even android; 8. Itunes. I don't know why some people complain about using itunes when it's actually such a great and helpful tool to keep data in your iphone organized, and it can also serve as your data back up.
The list goes on with other cool features that the iphone has. I just want to share my experience with the iphone to the readers, and I hope that it helps you a bit to know the iphone better.

I just want to ask something about this phone. I heard that when you use GPS you also need Internet because of the A-GPS and so phone uses 3G or EDGE for connecting Internet... Is this real or just a myth??

It just launched about a month a so in my country and costs a obscene amount of money.
So yes , if I had the money I would def by it.

Free if you steal a pirated version don't you mean?
As far as I am aware Tom Tom is licensed software and costs money to purchase.
