it sucks it drops calls often 3g doesnt work too many problems. not worth the money
i loved it, got it a last week.., and mine is the black iphone3G (black)..it was so perfect for me!!!
I've never enjoyed using any phone as much as I have enjoyed using the iphone. It's the best phone that I've ever owned. For those people complaining about BT file transfer, SMS forwarding, & MMS. If you use those features every day, the iphone is not for you. I thought those features are important at first, but I came to realize, after having so many phones in the past with those features, that I don't really use those features a lot, which means, I could live and function without those features in exchange for other more helpful and useful features that I would gain with the iphone that I would be using every day. I never thought that a phone can have this much effect on me. Iphone is a really cool device.
nick, 06 Sep 2008no samsungs are actually illegible in bright daylight. thats been no problem with my n95. b... moreHow can you say that the resolution of the iphone sucks when it has better resolution than your N95. Also, HTC Diamond may have better resolution that the iphone, but pictures still look better on the iphone because of its bigger screen.
javier, 06 Sep 2008when in the review you say that the iphones sunlight legibility is not surpassed even by nokia... moreno samsungs are actually illegible in bright daylight. thats been no problem with my n95.
btw, this phones screen res sucks. 320x480?
i think htc should teach you a lesson
640x480 on a screen of 2.8 inches!!

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2008I am planning to get this phone as a pay as you go. chuck the O2 sim away. will i be able to u... moreIf u get it unlocked you'll be able to make calls and send SMS on Vodafone with it. But you won't be able to use Vodafone Live, or musicstation or any of the other Vodafone services. You should be able to browse the internet, but not using the WAP connection. This is not just a guess, BTW, I work in a Vodafone prepay call center. Also, be aware that Vodafone don't offer any support whatsoever for the iPhone...

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2008He didn't cheat. Regardless of WHY the iPhone was faster than the N95, the fact of the matter ... moreHe maybe wasn't CHEATING, but it wasn't a fair test. The iPhone may haave loaded the web page faster, but that's because it was loading less information. It's a bit like saying 2 guys are running a race, one of them's gotta run 100 meters - the other's gotta run 150. Who do you think's gonna finish first?! Stop trying to justify that the iPhone's a heap of crap...
To make this short, if all you need is an Ipod with some phone and limited organizer functions, the Iphone is a good one to get.
If you need to have a good camera, video capture, mms, full office/calendar editor, message forwarding, DO NOT buy this. Find out what you need and go for it. End of story.
does anybody knows how long the battery last with the iphone 3g.because if i sign with rogers for a 3 year plan in canada,i want to know if the battery will last me for that period too.same thing with the touch screen.
