Just a word of warning:
The industry standard of power output of mobile phones has been set at 2W/100g...
My Samsung G600 has a value of 0.567 but the iPhone 3G has a value of 2.6W/100g which has been identified as a possible carcinogenic (cancer causing) level so keep this phone far away from you at most times...

By far the worst phone i have owned recently and to think that i got rid of my Blackberry 8130 for this. It lasted 2 days before taking it back to exchange for a Blacberry 8320 which you can do the following on unlike the iPhone 3G:
Foward an SMS
Set any MP3 as a Ringtone
Set any MP3 as a Text Tone
Video Camera
This phone is not worth all the hype. To me it just seems like a rushed effort and it could have been made much much better 3/10

I suggest you to opt for htc cruise because in p1 the keypad sucks cruise is a far better phone with very user friendly features you can get applications online and upgrade ur phone like a i phone and lot other features just for free online

actually this phone only supports bluetooth thru headset...what is this???a stone age phone???harhar...its not worth for its price...better buy urself a miny laptop..the battery also sucks as well..play your music here good sounds but the battery last for only 30mins continous playing of music...no file manager 2...

Some people talking here about phones camera..Lol, people, you buying phone for camera? or you buying phone for great futures as Internet, programs and this iphone you can do all you want..So who cares about camera 2.0 or 5.0 ?? go buy camera 7.0 and use it as camera, but iphone not made for special camera...This is system, so you can use every thing in ONE HAND...

Iphonein d Philippines is very very expensive$1200.Why announce worldwide its only $199butthere are hidden charges you have to have a very Expensive plan with the telecom company to bve able to get it at $500 and not even $199 as announced or else pay the $1200 what a misleading advertsement by Apple

So I love every Apple product, but I will say that the battery on the 3G iphone is HORRIBLE!!! Im not going to lie. Everything seems to be pretty cool, but the battery suck! And I constantly have issue where my phone says NO SERVICE for no particular reason!!! I think im getting myself a Sony P1, any comments from people out there?

I have never used a more glitchy phone in my life. It is worthless as a business tool. Other than the interface and OS this phone is terrible in nearly all regards. The application store is garbage, the applications themselves are crap and hardly worth the wait for development. Why are there no programs? What is up with these stupid applications each one more useless than the next? You must have 30 applications to do what one program can do. I am so pissed at Apple.
