Salesman, 14 Aug 2008As a retail phone salesman and an iPhone user myself, I cant help but laugh at the Nokia N95 n... moreAgain Nokia...even Samsung....are far more advanced when it comes to phones. Nokia and Samsung have been building cel phones for a long a time. Apple is just baby when it comes to cel phones. The iphone still lack features. The reason the N-series such as the n95 is overprice is because it is an all around phone. Add up the prices of a camera, cel phone, and pc. It's just a matter if you can afford it or not.
Hey if the iphone is so expensive how much is the Omnia and Xperia. They must be really cheap.
Over Priced grot that don't work
We love the Iphone even without
YOUR features
boooooo
Apple need to be axpensive it is axclusive brand and not for everyone to afford.
I guess not affordable for you nether
Sin -what ever- see you
As a retail phone salesman and an iPhone user myself, I cant help but laugh at the Nokia N95 nuts who think their phone is any good. We constantly have the 8gb black and the original N95 returned to our branch every week with problems and the phone is not a shade on the iphone. It is over priced and slow, Has a poor battery life! You only hate the iphone because you signed up for your nokia too early and feel you have to defend it! The N95's only outstanding feauture is the camera facillity and soon this will just be an average with 8.1 mega pixel models being released! Give it up and start worshiping the iphone as it is the future and soon you will ALL own one!!!
Not to mention that most appstore apps have been cracked.Have u guys seen crash bandicoot on iphone compared with nokia? It looks incredible, almost nintendo/sony psp quality.Imagine the games that will come! Appstore has been up for one month or so and there are HUNDREDS of apps many of them super-high quality. The iphone really is the future! Where is the nokia touch screen ?Also itunes sync is amazing: MUSIC PODCASTS TV SHOWS MOVIES oh and ITUNES U plus audiobooks etc...and did i mention APPSTORE?Just watch Crash Bandicoot on iphone and die of jealousy nokia fanboys
We already know all those things.
But anyway IPHONE is the best phone on the market at this moment no spam anymore please.......
Just a few major disadvantages that Iphone 3G has:
- No video calls over the 3G network
- The handset wobbles on hard even surfaces
- There are a number of messaging downers
- Camera has no auto focus, nor video recording… nor any settings at all
- Safari browser doesn't support Flash and Java, doesn't have a download manager
- Bluetooth support limited to headset use only (no A2DP or file transfers)
- No office document editor
- No copy/paste functionality
- You cannot sync Notes and TO-DOs
- No memory card slot (but knowing Apple there will never be one)
LAME!!!!!!!!!
Anonymous, 14 Aug 2008yeah that is utter crap cos vodafone is one of the WORST networks outside urban areas. so netw... moreI use both networks driving around East Anglia for a company that has more transmitters on site than even farmers’ fields. For signal O2 drops off more than Vodafone.
guyver3, 14 Aug 2008if the iphone 3g has 3.0 + mega pixel and a great flash...i would buy definitely buy it. So I ... moreIphone is not a photocamera (nether a child toy) !!! it is a internet device, phone and an ipod.
There are a great numbers of the photocams up to 1o PM and those are not to axpensive.
Buy one of those and stop COMPLAINING about the Iphone
ha ha ha, only N95 can challenge iphone??? even low end phones can do much more than iPhone 3G!
it lacks so many phone applications that it can hardly be called a phone! :P it really is just an expensive toy
Not sure if i want this phone anymore after all the negative publicity, maybe opt for a 32g i-touch
Pepsi, 14 Aug 2008The iPhone is locked to the Vodafone network and is only available on a 24 month contract. You... moreHi Pepsi

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970i am just pointing out that apple could have added more features on the iphone 3g that the n95 has...and I am sure nokia will build a touchscreen phone.
Any truth to what I read today? Apple has admitted that it has the ability to remotely control the iPhone (ostensibly to remove hacked/unlicensed software or fight viruses.) The Consumer's Union here in Italy is talking about taking action to force Apple to remove from sale all iPhones that can be remotely controlled, and to replace all iPhones already sold with this technology because Apple did not reveal this before the phones went on the market. The CU maintains that it is a breach of privacy.
Pepsi, 14 Aug 2008Yes, go look up the Nokia Tube. Just because the N95 has more specs than the iPhone doesn't... moreWho said I am whining?...lol..just compare the specifications of the two phones. n95 is more of an all around phone, while the iphone is more of a toy (media).
guyver3, 13 Aug 2008who cares about the touch screen. iphone 3g softwares are just easier to download throug apple... moreYes, go look up the Nokia Tube.
Just because the N95 has more specs than the iPhone doesn't mean it's superior. The iPhone is aimed at a certain market and if it's not for you then don't whine, no one wants to hear it! The iPhone's OS and internet browsing abilities are much better than the N95's. I work for a phone company and know all about both phones, but I'd choose the iPhone as internet is most important to me besides being able to call and txt. I wouldn't even look twice at the N95 after seeing the iPhone!
The point of this ramble is just because you can't see what's so great about it, doesn't mean other people won't. Everyone has an opinion and different people have different needs for a phone.
daniel, 13 Aug 2008hi i got a big Question to ask i live in australia and i rang up vodafone to see about the iph... moreThe iPhone is locked to the Vodafone network and is only available on a 24 month contract. You can't buy it outright, so obviously you have to be with Vodafone on a 24 month contract to use it if you buy from Vodafone.
Make sense?
