I phone..... a waste of money
1. U cannot replace the battery
2. U cannot share files like photos music etc with anyone els who doesnt have an i phone because its nt ipod compatible. so u wnt be able to bluetooth either.
3. battery is only 5 hrs
i work in telco and ive had this phone and i h8 it. whats the big deal its touch screen it has the latest stuff... so does everyone one els only one thing apple have lacked in is the camera why only 2mb and why no flash.. before commenting its better than nokia or lg or samsung etc they really shud have the best phone

The iphone began the new era in mobile comm... moreBefore you go rubbishing other phone manufacturers like Samsung you should know that all the inner workings of the iphone are samsung made, audio chip, memory, screen...etc. And this isn't the first touchscreen phone on the market. I think LG were the first to have a phone with this design. Iphone is not original or groundbreaking far from it. Great marketing though. Samsung, Lg, Se, Nokia all need to hire apples marketing team, enough said.

The O2 phones had touchscreen capability LONG before the iPhone came out, and in fact Apple got involved in a legal dispute with LG over the similarities between the iPhone and the Prada.
Touchscreen phones have been out way longer than the iPhone. Maybe if you paid attention to technology instead of getting sucked in to hype you'd realise this.

Because iphone was first having that idée and others are just followers.

I am going for the real thing the iphone and if you say but the camera or whatever buy just a cam 10 MP and do not expect it form the phone.
There is no cue to buy other phones and honestly i do not want the nokia N 95 even for free.
I can’t even thing about pressing one button 3 or 4 times to type one letter and not touching

Not really imported staff for the phone. Could someone tell me witch phone have a bigger screen than 3.5 inch or even the same. There is none so get the real thing I hope you can afford it ..................

Did you guy's hear that the white iphones are cracking...I have 2 friends with the... moreyeah many people have reported cracks on their iphones, mostly the white color ones though. seems to be a manufacturing fault, similar to early Nintendo DS lite consoles and their cracked hinge.
however nintendo was replacing consoles with cracks, not sure what damages are covered by apple's warranty. things like that shouldn't happen on such expensive devices however.

this iPhone 3g is the best mobile/iPod and internet is just the best all round gadget for me. I'm writting this from my iPhone 3g. If ur looking for a good mobile/data plan in Australia I'd suggest you should go with Optus and if your a big mobile user then go the $129 timeless unlimited plan with 3gb of data download each month, anyhows there my 2 cents worth.
iPhone 3g is such a great device, I'm very satisfied with it.

Iphone has given a platform for mobile computing there is plethora of applications developed and many in progress which are useful in there own way. I think iphone is analogous to windows for PC's
