First was nothing and than they discover the fire. The iphone began the new era in mobile communication. All other phone companies like Samsung, Lg,and coming Nokia(touch screen) those are based on iphone with large touch screens displays. Why they never did this before iphone come on the market???
Because iphone was first having that idée and others are just followers.
Tell me what would you like to have a copy of something of just the real thing???
I am going for the real thing the iphone and if you say but the camera or whatever buy just a cam 10 MP and do not expect it form the phone.

Did you guy's hear that the white iphones are cracking...I have 2 friends with the... moreyeah many people have reported cracks on their iphones, mostly the white color ones though. seems to be a manufacturing fault, similar to early Nintendo DS lite consoles and their cracked hinge.
however nintendo was replacing consoles with cracks, not sure what damages are covered by apple's warranty. things like that shouldn't happen on such expensive devices however.

this iPhone 3g is the best mobile/iPod and internet is just the best all round gadget for me. I'm writting this from my iPhone 3g. If ur looking for a good mobile/data plan in Australia I'd suggest you should go with Optus and if your a big mobile user then go the $129 timeless unlimited plan with 3gb of data download each month, anyhows there my 2 cents worth.
iPhone 3g is such a great device, I'm very satisfied with it.

Iphone has given a platform for mobile computing there is plethora of applications developed and many in progress which are useful in there own way. I think iphone is analogous to windows for PC's

1) it's not revolutionary.
2) it's not a widescreen ipod - the ipod touch has the same screen, and the iphone doesn't have a screen thats any wider.
3) it's not a breakthrough internet device - many many many many many.......many phones before this one have supported HSDPA and better.
4) "rich HTML email"? Windows Mobile Outlook? Since back in the day?
5) full? may be a full browser, but it's lacking flash support, so it isn't exactly a full experience.
6) it doesn't redefine anything. nothing whatsoever. not one of the features it offers (bar the multi-touch screen) is new.
nice phone, but seriously, come on, get a grip and look at it for what it is, rather than what apple tells you it is. you'd have to be retarded not to see it.

nabil, 29 Jul 2008my father told me to buy nokia n95(8gb).thank god i didnt do it because my friend uses nokia n... morethe n95 is a superb phone also. The main difference of an n95 and iphone is software applications. a search is needed to download software applications to an n95 because nokia is mainly a phone a company, while iphone softwares can be downloaded easily throough apple. Between the two phones I would choose the n95 because of all the functions: phone, camera, and pocket pc. If the iphone comes out with a high megapixel and a flash. I would buy it.
