PhilMyMonkey, 24 Jul 2008basicly the i phone is a american phone and the amricans dont send picutre messages like us br... morewell said philmymonkey..... U hit the nail right on the head. Some of us ain't that botherd about cam. Little senario. I got an email sent to my iPhone about a casting, open attachment which was excel, got time and place of casting, check train times on net then done a journey plan on tube. When I got off tube I type in postcode in google maps, it showed me I'm going wrong way , got on bus gps shows I'm going right way. Got off wen I reach my pinpoint. I'm there on time. That's wot iPhone is about just quick and easy.

Fact is this phone can... morebasicly the i phone is a american phone and the amricans dont send picutre messages like us brits and they also dont send stuff to each other via bluetooth in reality its pointless aint it really... y do u need naff videos when u have you tube and emails to send pictures directly to people think about it like that it is at the prestant momment of time the best phone out there on the market. and if u want a carmra buy a camrea a phone anit bought for the camra facilty it manily bought to ring and text.... but phones now days have gagets to sway custmer into buying there phone... this phone has evrey thing a mac has and all u really need i dont puposley use mine for camra because i use my carmra for pictures... its just nice to take a pic with a phone once in a while but not all ur pics....
u dont buy a camra to make calls do u u buy a camra to take pictures u dont buy a radio to make u a cup of tea.....
they are extras, extras come and no other price because they are witha phone for u to buy...

I'm interested in getting this phone for a few reasons, I'm not really interested in the camera, I have a nokia that has a 2 megapixel camera, and I hardly use it! What I am looking at the iPhone for is 3G coverage in my home area, but more impostantly, the iPod, MP3 functionality of the phone. how well does the battery last when playing MP3's and is the sound quality any good? I also am addicted to SMS, is the iPhone easy to use the touchscreen for sending and typing SMS's?

Damnit people there are more things to a phone than cameras! i've said this 100 times before-no phone camera will beat its digital camera equivalent. Why are you whining about not having video recording? Most phones only record at 320x240 res anyway. Don't even try to tell me thats useful.

Iphone is the most overated phone propably due to apples hype machine . Fact is this phone cannot MMS , video record , transfer bluetooth files and no java support features that have been available on phones for years . Only 2 megapixel camera . Look at HTC diamond this phone has all features listed above that apple doesnt as well as video calling , quicker data speeds and a more open operating system .

I thout the i-phone would be like a mega block buster but it really aint that good. its got a camera which cant even take videos.... totaly useless... unless your a buisness men or something.
i think it just hasnt lived up to its hype.

How can i get Mp3 ringtones????, the preloaded tones are so BORING!!! and the handset has bad battery life, i would rate this handset 3 out of 10 as i have owned numerous handset from base models right up to t he Nokia 8800 Sapphire arte and this handset is very BLAH!!!
