iPhone is not mine, but use it now for 1 week. Conclusion: I am very happy, not due to the use of it but due to the fact it is not mine. Once the fancy magic is gone only a very basic mobile rest. Please do not say I am a iPhone hater and I have no money to buy one (last is correct), See it as a toy and you can stay happy, but if you need a mobile....think you made the wrong choice
# 1 phone in the world...Hey this is new Technology and not your toy
Fortunately the world population is made up of millions of people with varying tastes and ideals and not simply sheeple who are forced to follow global trends. Apple is and always will be the leaders in class and innovation. If you disagree, ask yourself why is it that everything from the Mac OS to iMac to iPod to iPhone is miserably replicated by other brands? If you still have not cottoned on to what Apple is all about then best don't buy the iPhone, just keep your closed minded negative opinions to yourselves (º)
I was wondering, will the iPhone 3G connect to service provider to get maps, while it is being used as navigation system? By this mean, we will likely have to pay for data transfer over UMTS or GPRS.. or all maps are already stored on the phone's hard drive?

My HTC TouchDual is much more of a smartphone and entertainment device than this iPhone, its a shame this device is STILL missing the basics.
All i can say is that i absolutly love the iphone 3g. The design is nice and the features benefit me for what i need it for. Although i'd like to be able to mms from it but its not a big deal i'd miss from a phone.
