Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hmm, guessing you queued up for 3 hours and then they were out of stock...
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes you can buy only phone without contract but you will pay 599.99 for 8gb or 699.99 for 16gb
iPHONE copy from LG. My suggestion don't buy iPhone buy either Nokia/Sony ercsson
in my views apple is the best company in the world ever which gives full alternate of user's money in form of tremendous devices such as iPhone or iPhone 3G whatever it is. Yes, I crazy for apple products. Thank you for reading these comments.
I've used several Pocket PC phones n the iPhone too. Nokia is handy, easy to msg, pick calls n things, while Pocket PC phones are road warriors with internet n piles of applications. For iPhone, it's smooth, slim, shiny and fast internet; who cares for camera, video or bluetooth? those feathers are, frankly, seems for only beginners. It's reasonable price too. Come on, for my business I use two, iPhone as warrior & Nokia as msg addicted. Crazy n weired? maybe!!! iPhone and other fones, with love from CAMBODIA :-) Orkun Bart.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970"Phonebook Practically unlimited entries and fields, Photocall" Written directly above your post...
I should SMS it to you from my iPhone so you can read it on your tiny little screen.
Nokia are and always have been bland imitators, they make phones for Grandmothers who don't know any better.
I quote your post
"IPHONE IS AN AMERICAN CRAP:
NO SMS, NO VIDEO-CALL,
2MP camera, no flash nor video
NO phonebook. Any Nokia is way better than that CRAP IPHONE. Why all the hype on the iphone? It doesn't even have a phone book! and the price, ridiculous!
The Bluetooth cannot send photos or any information
You can't Copy-Paste
You can't watch videos outside Youtube
If you want some of this options, you have to hack it
Battery is not removable easily
Battery is quickly discharged.
I've had many phones but the WORST ever is the iphone. I don't advise anyone to get that crap. And then these American have so much restrictions on buying that Crap iphone. Who do they think they are?
THE IPHONE IS STONE AGE!!! DON'T BUY IT!!!"
As far as video goes as I watch podcasts I can downloaded via iTunes on the iPod.
Anyway maybe you should go head to the Nokia part of the forums where you obviously belong, you can drool over their latest piece of crap with all the other fanbois.
yes cannot :(
Interesting comment. If this phone is stone age, how come almost all phone makers trying to copy it? This phone is the next best thing my friends.

Ever heard of winter time numnuts!
DeMaykol, 19 Jul 2008Don't u get it, iphone is not a phone: NO sms NO videocall, although it's a 3G 2MP camera, ... moredude it has sims. you can put it. only draw back is its not interchangeable with other networks.. but they come around that. thats wat they did for the iphone. yes, the problem is blurtooth to transfer stuff to other fones. I guess thats a bit dumb. other than that iphone is kinda ok for a phone with the latest OS running in it and thats waaay ahead of other technologies.. I dont know about O2, but I think this beats everything else technology wise on the market. entertainment wise its a bit behind.
ive been working for 02 for 2 years now when the first iphone came out the hype we got from selling it. it got boaring after the first 4 months now the 3g is out there really is not much difference. for a start it still does not have bluetooth it still has more faults than ive encounterd in any phone i wouldnt buy this phone if it was last available.
sope people are so stupid... you can't have cold fingers unless you're dead, and if you are there's no point for you to use an iphone... the touchscreen recognises the electricity in your finger, that's how it can support multitouch, if you don't like it buy a china version...
Don't u get it, iphone is not a phone:
NO sms
NO videocall, although it's a 3G
2MP camera, no flash nor video
NO phonebook, come on! the nokia 1100, that costs 1/20 of the iphone has phonebook!
Bluetooth cannot send photos or any information
You can't Copy-Paste
You can't watch videos outside Youtube
If you want some of this options, you have to hack it
Battery is not removable easily
Battery is quickly discharged if you use 3 hours of wifi
Believe me! I've used over 50 hours of iphone, and i just don't get why you people love it so much, it is not a phone, it's just an ipod that calls
Believe me, I'll never get a iphone, i really love my nokia 3500 classic, it has a lot of things that iphone hasn't, also, if would ever want a supermega phone, i would buy Sony Xperia X1, it rocks.
Any comments, migoldsc@gmail.com
Asikel, 19 Jul 2008It's true, they used a heat sensitive touchscreen. Don't understand the logic in it but they did.make it clear, I am not an iPhone fan, but....
About the heat sensitive screen following. It is not really a heat sensitive screen that is used but a screen that react on the capacity of the body. This kind of screens are common last months and used for the first time by the LG prada. Also samsung use that kind of screen in the F480 and possible in more mobiles as well. The screen technology is actual the best in touch screen. No worry, seems maybe strange but it is not
I am willing to accept all of this phone except the fact you can not store contacts without a PC sync. This is really too much for me. Imagine you meet a nice lady......wait my angel, first need to boot my PC and sync. bye bye lady
It's true, they used a heat sensitive touchscreen. Don't understand the logic in it but they did.
JohanS, 18 Jul 2008Quite worthless phone that's going for sale ASAP.
I am NOT happy with the battery life.
I ... moreits funny how you two people can take the same thing (a phone in this case) and have vastly different opinions.
Having used practically every type of smartphone out there I am quite pleased with the new iPhone I had a Blackberry Curve and two others before that, Nokia Smartphones and a couple of Treos and have been most impressed with the iPhone, though I do still miss my Blackberry Curve a little.
Its also interesting that you complain about battery life it leads the industry, I know this from recent reports comparing other 3G phones and personal experience. As for some of the other things you dont like like using iTunes and so forth it seems you need to do a little more homework before you buy your next smartphone since most any and everything could have been known about the phone long before the purchase.
Suz, 18 Jul 2008Is it true that if you have cold fingers or acrylic nail the touch screen won't work well?????Suz:
this iPhone features a touch screen Heat sensor.
it is not like the HTCs with a pen.
touch in its screen with any nail, pen or whatever that isn't Human Heat, will... ahem... you know, letting marks on the screen, so I recommend to not to use stuff like that
