mac, 25 Jun 2008Globe telecom is going to be the distributor of iphone in the philippines. but u have to wait ... morewhat is it an iphone or the new iphone 3g?
coz i already have an iphone and just hoping to purchase an iphone 3g anytime soon...
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hi buddy! I just saw the video of the 3G launch which says globally the price for the 8GB version will be US$199 and for 16GB version US$299.
Globe Telecom will release the units by end of July not December! I have called their Marketing people and they have a long list already as of now...hope we can be served soon! I wonder what my number is on the list...
so the only difference between this and the 1st iPhone is the 3G and GPS? it's not even "real" GPS. it's A-GPS. of course, those 2 features has been available on other cell phones for the last 3 years and iPhone has just now added those features. they're a little late. it also might be cheaper than the 1st iPhone, but you'll be paying way more in the long run with the "new" data plan contract.
Stylus, 25 Jun 2008So, you are suggesting Apple change the entire OS and hardware and add a stylus? Let me ask ag... moreoh yea? why don't you try writing a foreign language with your oh-so-mighty fingertip? well, obviously, you haven't actually written anything on a touchscreen. i don't think the qwerty keyboard supports foreign languages, so i'm just saying that it would be easier, that's all. and i'm not suggesting that they should change the entire OS for a stylus. that would be meaningless (plus i think it's awesome enough as it is) it's just that it's hard sometimes to pin-point on something with a fingertip. now THINK before you comment next time.
Whoever uses there phone as there main camera, just don't get this phone. Your obviously not a professional photographer and Apple did not target that issue. They issued BIG ISSUES like GPS and 3G along with application support.

who said it had a 5 mp camera? Its going to be 2mp. Where do you get your information from ?
The draw back of getting the iphone is **WARNING, this phone may attract too many women to want to sleep with you... much much more than Axe ever will, A police night stick is strongly advised**
P.s. I've seen that blue tooth watch, and I am not impressed enough to care that it does not link with the iPhone. Plus I think only Sony phone can link to it.
as I said before *wifi* is not carrier supported and you will not have to pay your phone carrier to use it. So send files via wifi to through the Internet. Blue tooth is much too slow to send any large/semi large file anyway
could any one tell me drawbacks of i phone coz i want to buy it thx.
and it have a 5 Mpix not 2 ... this is a big mestake from this site www.gsmarena.com
The fon is great ... it have MMS (what a question :)))) ) and more aplications that others mobile phone doesn't invented yet ... true is the phone is a little bit sofisticated and that makes difficult to a woman to use it ... try to learn about it before you buy it ...
I have a challenge for the people in the US who wish to tout another phone or bash the iPhone:
1. What phone from Nokia, Sony Ericcson, Samsung, HTC, etc. is less to operate with the same features (3G, etc.) and has the same network supported functions (Microsoft Exchange, etc.) as the iPhone?
2. What is the average price a consumer would expect to pay for such an unlocked phone? E.g., N95 $700, XPERIA 1,100.
3. In the end, using another phone, what is the net savings per month over a one-year or two-year period while staying with the same carrier and using the same minutes or services? (compare apples to apples)
4. Show us where the carrier supports the phone.
5. Will they insure it?
I thought so!
