It's for when you need that extra little bit—and 2G just won't do. Didn't you watch Spinal Tap? I unlocked my iPhone, now it goes to eleven!

is there any version of the iphone 3g that is not sold on contract. coz in am currently not on contract and i prefer that. so can Aplle sell their phones without this corporate branding, ie AT&T, 02 etc

For the question about the price! this phone will be offered for 200$ with a 2 year contract with the phone company which will provide it with any of it offers to the customers . so basically its not 200$ for the normal customers.
for the question about the brazil! this phone is 3G Speed not 3G for Video Call ! so there is no cam to make video calls ..

My iPhone is unlocked and working on T-Mobile—and without any issues. Why don't you call T-Mobile and ask them? They have a toll-free number.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970How can we answer your question when we don't know what country you are from? Only a few carriers will offer it unlocked. It has been suggested these will fetch an astronomical price. Time will tell.

I can't see it anywhere on th... moreVideo Calling isn't the only thing a 3G phone can do, if you notice the iPhone has wifi and now has 3G making it perfect for internet usuage. Fast speeds, TV watching, 3G is great for that.

Okay I know that the iPhone 3G is about $200, but I heard that the plan for it is very expensive (also $200/per month?!)? Is this true?
And even though its for at&t, could I buy it and use it for T-Mobile? How much would the plan cost for T-Mobile (text, internet..etc.)? Is there a special plan for it?
