if u alread got the old iphone can upgrade it 2 3G plz reply quikly
iPhone 3G doesn't legally support multi-tasking . Steveboy doesn't want outside developers doing the powerful/important applications. Maybe its Jobs way of saying "Apple wants to become another Microsoft".
Steve steve stevu it's not wise to monopolize with only 0.5% of market share.
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2008You're forgetting that the price of $199 is in combination eith a 2 year contract of $60 a month. That explains alot.
SO not worth it
george, 10 Jun 2008Iphone 3G cost $200 which includes (8GB + GPS + 3.5inch screen + one of the best OS available ... moreYou're forgetting that the price of $199 is in combination eith a 2 year contract of $60 a month.
Anonymous, 10 Jun 2008the information of this page is wrong, the white is the 16GB version. The information on this site is right, you're just wrong the iphone 8gb will be availible in black en the 16gb in either black OR white. Make sure next time you check your information before you post.
Iphone 3G cost $200 which includes (8GB + GPS + 3.5inch screen + one of the best OS available today) while HTC Diamond cost 3 times more. So before saying HTC is great or Samsung is great look at cost and features being offered by IPhone.
$199 and $299 seems really cheap for an iPhone... Specially now it's 3g
So they still didn't fix the bluetooth huh... Kinda not worth it then.. Then again if it's as cheap as 199 why not have it as a 2nd phone
questioner, 10 Jun 2008does it support external camera for vedio calls?nope- it does not support video recording - and nor does it support bluetooth and nor does it support mms .
Man this really takes the cake - have the people at apple "lost it"!!! I cant believe it - a 3g phone and u cant transfer pictures / videos / files through bluetooth - eeeshhhh thats pathetic ... these guys have gonne back 10 years in time . every other basic regular phone allows u to transfer stuff through bluetooth - then why couldnt apple do it !!! no video recording tooo . man its a joke - i wouldnt touch this phone - i dont care much about gps , or 3g . it dosent have the basics that are important for me - crap - complete crap ... not going to touch it -
Vlad, 10 Jun 2008I dont like this phone because it does not have video conference camera, main camera is only 2... moremaybe you have cheap chinese clone? You can install third party software. You can even download free SDK. Why do you need SD card on it? 16gb not enough?
I dont like this phone because it does not have video conference camera, main camera is only 2mp and no flash. Also no SD card. No 3rd party software can be installed.
Quote''This is getting worse and worse. According to this internal memo sent out to AT&T store employees, anyone that actually wants to use Exchange ActiveSync on their iPhone will be forced into the "Enterprise" data plan which reads to be the exact same service as the consumer/personal data plans, but $15 more per month.
That's a whopping $45 per month just for data. Evil.''
In The definition of 3G at Wikipedia "Services include wide-area wireless voice telephony, video calls" And here we found a new 3G phone without the video calling feature.
And If you lost your place and need to use the GPS feature, in the IPhone case -as I know- you have to be connected to the internet to download the maps, so what if there is no coverage (It Must have an offline maps).
Not Talking about the bluetooth!!!
they got a lot of info on this page wrong. Its only 0.02 mm thicker...not like .7!!
No unlocked phones. 2 year contract and in-store activation only, why did u all think it is so cheap. On top of that, no major improvements (lack of MMS, front camera, a2dp, no improvements of back camera, cheap plastic back, but reception should be better). GPS is nice.....I hope that lots of 3rd party apps will get available.......
But this thing with the in-store activation and 2 yr contract, no thank u
