Even though it has recent technologies, the greatest drawback is the lack of video call (non availability of front camera for doing video calls) and the absence of radio. The battery life goes down drastically if we use mobile internet with 3G option enabled

I'm looking at getting an iP that's locked on o2 (buying 2nd hand)& want to unlock it to accept any network sim. Is this easy enough to do & does it have any impact on the operation of the phone.

I use the iphone. It is a brilliant phone in pretty much every respect apart from it's weak aerial that isn't too great at receiving signal. Apple also decided to build the aerial into the BOTTOM if the phone!! Heaven knows why.

Updated my iphone to the latest software and now its on its way back to apple the update worked then then an hour latter it just shut down and could not be restarted even by the phone shop that sells them

For the phone function Apple used a modem, and that's the reason why the phone can't receive alls while is connected to the Internet. Cheers!

Rahim, 16 Feb 2010i have apple iphone 3g 16GB and i am using internet by my iphone but i don't know how to conne... moreyou need to activate iphone as modem this will allow you to use the phone as a modem to browse the internet, the fundemental problem that you will have is that you will not be able to use the phone to recieve or make calls while on the internet.

I've personally use a Nokia phone to my computer & used internet on my computer. There must be a software provided by Apple to do so. Something similar to a Nokia PC Suite

1. No true multi tasking (even jailbreak and backgrounder is true multi tasking)
2. No Flash support (never will be) Mr jobs has all his eggs in the HTML5 basket
3. No file management structure - Ability to save and manipulate files on the phone.
4. No ability to attach files on the phone to email
5. No true push email (without 3rd party app who will need all your log in credentials)
6. Poor battery life compared to other phones.
Thats just a few that i feel any smartphone should have straight out of the box.
I know i'm going to get abuse for the above but there the reasons I got ride of my iPhone and went to the BB Bold 9700 and haven't regretted it once.

I've never liked apple.
But now i have one its amazing.
Its my camera, gps, phone, computer, mp3, .....
Its the best phone possible.
I have always have the latest phones.
I even soled 3years phones and theres is nothing to compare whit the iphone
