Hi All,
I had the previous iPhone 3G it was one kind of device. Now I bought the 2nd one 3GS is Excellent device to those who know how to make use of t.
It almost run as a notebook when am out side of my office.
It's the best touch screen device available in the market at the moment even HTC which they are saying that they have the best devices in the market this is not true due to fact the the issue isn't with the hardware only, it's a combination between hardware & software.
I have tried almost most of the mobiles in the market but in the last 2 years I am using Apple iPhone and I am happy with it.

Anonymous, 31 Dec 2009i dont like the iphone. its too unimaginative i mean there are no themes or widgets, the model... moreYou are so ignorant - iphone has heaps of themes to chose from only works on a jailbroken device....ever heard of cydia. download and install winterboard off cydia and then its all sweet from there keep downloading themes and keep changin from the winterboard - theme manager
IPHONE IS THE SHIT !!!!!!
You lolitas have no clue what this device is capable of. From scanning (checkout "docscanner" in itues) to free faxing and printing (ScanR Business Center) to out of this world 3D motion games to the flawless responsive touchsreen (only possible with Mac OX) to the millions of apps in appstore or the free appulo.us to the cool graphics and wigets....OMG !!! everything is possible with this device and is so piss easy to use!!!! If you dont have an iphone and have some stupid android or symbian shit you are simply an ignorant fool who hates apple kz its the best and no one can ever beat it. PERIOD
Got my hands on iPhone 3Gs 32 Gb a week ago and I can only say it rocks. The best handset so far. I just works flawlessly and I have found a heap of usefull apps and games. I have used a whole lot of smartphones such as Xperia, Satio, P1. I've tried android. They all pale in comparison to the the iPhone. They seam to be lagging years behind in user experience. Apple has really composed a well thought through device. Theres no need for am manual because you just get it right on.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970If you don't know what to do with your ipod, ask me; i will give u free help. just admit that you are not smart enough to handle jailbroken devices.

i dont like the iphone. its too unimaginative i mean there are no themes or widgets, the model is a black rectangular shaped phone with 1 button, only the lock screen is customizable.
I would say that the apps are deadly though and thats about it, which is why i have an ipod touch.
and i know you can jailbreak it i have done that to mine but my opinions stay the same.

... moreFrom GSMArena's review of the Omnia II
"Audio quality led down by the stereo crosstalk
The Samsung I8000 Omnia II generally has pretty good audio quality, save for the one major weakness. The stereo crosstalk reading in our test was disastrously high suggesting quite a lot of signal leakage between the two channels.
The noise level and the dynamic range on the other hand are excellent and so is the intermodulation distortion. The total harmonic distortion reading is also pretty good, although we have seen better.
The frequency response of the Omnia II is very good for most of the range but the bass frequencies have been cut off resulting in the big numbers in the table.

You see I prefer to rely on GSMarena's testing process as outlined here:-

Which is more scientific in it's approach rather than being based on subjective opinions.
Anonymous, 31 Dec 2009Are you saying the GSMarena reviewers don't know how to do their job?
Here's a quote from t... moreDude i wanna hear the beats.....You are speaking in the same way i spoke till yesterday....
Just try listening to music in omnia,u will understand
Besides i am not an apple hater... I do love my iphone but as i said b4.. Fact is a Fact

So,Wat is the most successful product of apple---> ipod
Why was it successful bcoz during the launch of ipod there were no competitors in the field...
But now the scenario is totally different....
My lil sis got Omnia 2 today and i borrowed it from her to check its sound quality and i was dumbstruck..
It seems that apple was so immersed in their victory of the past that they forgot to improve their product...
But still in terms of touch screen responsiveness iphone rules...
but the fact is the fact apple has to wake up and improve its (ipod) sound quality....
And besides we dont even know the type of sound engine that we (iphone and ipod) users use...
Hope they take some action and send us all some kind of free upgrade of the (ipod) software

Here's a quote from the review of the iPhone 3GS including results of their audio testing:-
"Audio quality deserves a High-Five
Just when we thought that they cannot get much better in this area and here come Apple to surprise us. The audio quality of the iPhone 3G was almost as good as it gets on a portable device and now with the iPhone 3GS it is simply perfect.
The iPod's bigger brother provides the best sonic experiences on the market with all of its readings simply remarkable.
As far as the improvements over the previous gen iPhones is concerned, the iPhone 3GS sports a much improved frequency response with the other readings almost on par. No one will probably be able to tell the differences in distortion levels for example, but this is mostly because the iPhone 3G performed flawlessly there to begin with.
But here are the results, so you can see for yourselves. You can find more information about the test itself and the meaning of the different numbers in the table here.
Test Frequency response Noise level Dynamic range THD IMD + Noise Stereo crosstalk
Apple iPhone 3GS +0.01, -0.05 -92.1 92.1 0.0035 0.011 -95.0

Apple iPhone 3G +0.52, -1.05 -89.9 90.1 0.0033 0.016 -93.1
Apple iPod Touch 2G +0.04, -0.05 -91.4 91.5 0.0027 0.012 -90.0

Samsung M8800 Pixon +0.54, -1.25 -86.4 85.7 0.0048 0.0165 -38.3
Apple iPhone 3GS frequency response is simply flawless"

So according to your point of view every other phone ever made must sound like a crackly old AM radio.
It's OK, I like it very much, but it's my backup phone. iPhone is way too clumsy and battery life is way to measly. A decent touch screen and superb internet browsing. Anyway it's a cell phone for fun, I cannot live without some kind of real keyboard phone (doesn't matter 3x4, qwerty or qw-er-ty keyboard), especially if you're heavy texting/mailing an a daily basis. But if you are addicted to all the kind of blogs and news and feeds and so on - then iPhone rules definitely :) BTW - sound quality isn't such an impressive, even if you throw away bundled trashphones and connect smth like sure or sennheiser. Even iPod Touch is kinda dull comparing to let's say Cowon middle line models. But it's OK if your sound quality expectation doesn't exceeds that "nice" FM radio quality :)
wow this phone is awesome... imagine an internet phone... love it... for those who don't know iphone was made for internet purposes... so its an internet that comes with a phone... i hope i could have this one...
