Anonymous, 25 Dec 2009You can watch avi files with vlcplayer once you jailbreak the deviceYou should never jailbreak your iphone!
The device overheats as it is and yeah, multitasking is great, but the developers haven't created stored state for applications just for fun. Also never leave wi-fi and 3D demanding apps while charging or you get a melting connector!
Then there are the viruses and hackers:
If you do any kind of banking don't jailbreak!
And the last thing you want is something to go wrong while youw warranty is voided.
Why not get a phone that does it all out of the box?
don't ever purchase this handset if you don't know its features..don't be too stupid. some people bought this phone for entertainment and for internet access but this is a seam less connection. if ever you may be disconnected to wifi, gprs charges may apply. study before bying. thanks

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You need to convert them on a PC (or Mac) then transfer them using iTunes.
There is plenty of software available to do it, on a Mac I use Handbrake teamed with Perian (for the codecs).

SE, 24 Dec 2009Guys please no need to be so sensitive. Come on you are men not a girl to hurt her feeling eas... moreI acknowledge that the HTC HD2 and X10 are definitely phones to be reckoned with, but even so sometimes simplicity is really the best thing to have. I have seen the HTC HD2 in action and I must say I am quite impressed with it's snappiness and ossum interface, not to mention huge screen and great resolution. X10 is also quite nice. Moto Droid is decent, but I found hardware keyboard to be insufficient, and it does lag slightly. Generally speaking the HD2, X10 and Droid are all great phones. As far as iphone-killing goes, however...
It's about how streamlined everything is. There is no file manager, and memory card slot, and there are no folders and menus to go through. Everything is organized very simply so that the greatest amount of things can be done with the least amount of work. In my opinion you sacrifice a small amount of functionality for a huge amount of convenience. Everything you want is literally right at your fingertips. No menus and OS versions and compatibility issues. I had N75 with symbian S60 3rd and it was a nightmare having to navigate countless menus to find what I installed or where I downloaded something.
It would be interesting to pit a veteran iphone user, winmo user, and android user against each other doing things like sending txts, making calls, loading webpages, and setting alarms and calendar entries. I bet I could do any of those things faster than any winmo or android user. I'm a master of the iphone :)
