Stop relying on second hand reports.
Anonymous, 15 Nov 2009"Nokia users can't argue reasonably" Completely untrue.
I have pointed out many times fault... moreThe LED flashes used on phone's only have an effective range of one metre.
Anything above 2 or 3 Megapixels is a waste as most phone's only use a 2 or 3 mm lens which is too close to the CMOS sensor to really do anything which is where the phones software comes in, to blur all the missing bits.
This is why the iPhone takes very clear pictures which are easily comparable to higher megapixel camera phones, Apple has been in the software business for 30 years, they know their stuff.
HTC is particularly weak in this area, their photo's are awful.

I have pointed out many times faults of the iphone. 1 being 3.0 kills the battery as was indicated by iphone users on the net. n97 battery is much stronger.Another is the lack of a flash for the camera makes for pics with dim lighting very poor and yes i know n97 flash has an issue.Zooming on the iphone pics is blurry.Screen res is behind on iphone3gs.Lack of replacable battery on the iphone especially when the battery needs to be replaced.
Instructions are on the net to replace iphone battery but its 16 steps.Who wants to risk that. Also capacitive screen easier to use then resistive but capacitive more likely to be damaged in a fall.Lack of proper bluetooth.Never a design change. For me that would be boring. If the n97 looked exactly like my n95 i never would have changed. So there you have it and no insults.
Anonymous, 15 Nov 2009iphone 3gs is the best phone ive ever had,i hve 32 gb white and its awsome..no wonder apple is... moreActually, Apple is only number one in terms of PROFIT (for this quarter). Nokia can still claim most of the smartphone market (I think the last figure was 35%?). But it's very impressive that Apple has only taken 2 years to break through the mobile industry.
I'm thinking of getting this phone. It will be my first "smartphone" and first touchscreen. At the moment, I'm looking at the 3gs, Nokia N97 and Nokia N900... I just have a question about the iphone (sorry for my ignorance) - can you send/receive files over bluetooth to/from other mobiles?
iphone 3gs is the best phone ive ever had,i hve 32 gb white and its awsome..no wonder apple is no 1 in the market right now nokia is no 2 LOL hve fan with you nokia crap

I d... moreSorry mate, I'm not gay.
If you look around the web you'll find someone to play your homo games.
The problem with nokia lovers is. They can't argue reasonably. That's why they would always lose with iphone users.
There's always a subtle way of bringing out a point without resorting to offending anyone.
Those things that you nokia whiners are complaining about the iphone, are things that we iphone users already know.
We already know that the iphone's resolution can be improved. It's megapixels can be more. It's BT can be expanded for other uses. Etc, etc, etc.
The reason that we still bought the iphone, and so did the other millions of people, is because the iphone offers more useful things to us than higher screen resolution, or more megapixels. We would probably curse Apple if it's screen only supports black and white, but you see, it may not be at par with HD2, omnia 2 or N97, but it's not that bad either, and still looks very good.
But hey, the iphone obviously offers more stability, refinement and finesse that other phones can't match at the moment. So maybe that matters most to a lot of users.
So why can't you nokia lovers just enjoy the competition. It's what pushes all phonemakers to be better. No need for mockery and irrational posts.

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2009"The discussion may as well involve all proprietary cables. And the iphone is not the only one... moreOf course I carry my iphone usb cable with me all the time. I also use that same cable to recharge my iphone. It does not make sense for me not to have it with me at all times.
The point you are not getting is, with the iphone's proprietary usb cable, you can still be able to connect your iphone to any standard computer with a usb port. I had to explain that to you in my post because you made it seem like it can't.
No I did not get my understanding of AVRCP from wikipedia at all. And before you mock me of where I got my information from. You may want to ask yourself where you got your understanding of AVRCP as well, unless you can tell us that you are the one who created AVRCP :)
What stuttering are you talking about? See you're lying again. All the videos that I have on my iphone have excellent quality and LEGAL, because I bought them from itunes.
Oh you're displaying your bitterness again that the iphone grabbed the best smartphone award. It hurts huh? You probably wanted your nokia device to win huh? Ahh, stop crying now. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
And thanks for admitting that you are a hater. That's why I am here. To expose evil haters so that the readers would know not to believe in you. So thanks :)
Anonymous, 14 Nov 2009"What you need to get into your bird brain is. No matter what you say, all files are much easi... moreOk let's answer your question. You asked "What if you simply want to copy paste a file from a friend that doesn't have an iPhone?". He can email it to me.
No I am not lying. Some songs saved in memory cards don't play on music players, and sometimes you cannot see them at all when you were certain that you copied and pasted it to the memory card.
You said "When you conect it in mass storage mode wich again you don't know what it is only the 16 or 32gb memory appears (depends on the sd size you have)". Guess what? With the iphone, we don't have to worry about any modes to connect. Just synch it and you're done :) And that is exactly the point I'm trying to make. The convenience and ease.
And how is internal memory cumbersome & pointless? LOL. What basic storage are you talking about? And what's wrong with the iphone proprietary cable? It comes with it, so why is that a problem? LOL. I say you're just making lame issues on something that is really not an issue.
You're the one who's spreading lies and silliness :)
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hey you. When he said "WE", he was referring to us iphone users. And please don't say that you are an iphone user because it will just make you look dumber in buying the iphone knowing that it does not have flash support.
Anonymous, 14 Nov 2009Again, stop promoting anti iphone blog sites in here and pretend that they're official article... moreHere's what you don't get. There are no iPhone hating sites because noone actually cares!
I didn't post anything untrue and devices don't get better without competition and criticism.
You do realize that if all the people here were to post their complaints on a developer forum the 3GS would be a lot more complete right now?
As for P%nm, you'll adress me with Sir, boy!
-Is there anything we may help You with Sir.
-Are You perhaps interested in our new data plan, Sir?
Got it, you frustrated prokaryote?
I don't NEED advice from a slalesman.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Again, stop promoting anti iphone blog sites in here and pretend that they're official articles from reputable magazines or official websites.
Here is what you need to understand. You are right. A lot of the features on the iphone are not necessarily new. Like web browsing, music player, touchscreen, accelerometer, etc. But you know what makes the iphone revolutionary? It's the REFINEMENT of those features. Yes, other phones have web browsers as well. Only if they work as stable and as refined as the iphone's safari. Look at the web browsers offered by phones before the iphone. You cannot even open some sites. It was limited. It's only after the iphone came out that other phonemakers also worked aggressively to improve their web browsers, their OS, their UI, etc. But before the iphone, everyone was slacking and didn't work aggressively on areas that needed so much refinement. It was when the iphone came out that finally, there's a phone that actually works the way it should be. Yes, it had missing features, but every time they add that missing feature in, the execution is much better than the rest. Look at video recording. Yes, it was only in the 3GS that it came out, but look at how wonderful it is. Trimming, editing, direct upload to YouTube, & MMS. It's top rate execution of features. That's the iphone's innovation. It's their method of combining features and the way features are laid out, not necessarily introducing new features. If not for the iphone, I really doubt if your nokia, samsung, lg, htc would step up. Thanks to the iphone, your nokia now has maemo. Thanks to iphone, your nokia is trying very hard to improve their ovi. But of course you do not see that, because all you have is hate, hate, hate. You're a pathetic hate :)
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970So what you hangin' round here for, looking for advice on how to spend your money?
You don't like it f^%k off.

So you just want to us forget that it an also browse the web? You want us to forget about all the other helpful things it can do with all the available apps from the App Store? Nice try."
So if i'd give you 30 seconds to write "all the usefull things" down you would?
30 seconds, what are all the usefull things?
P.S. I bet you'll fail LMAO:))))

And the iphone is not the only one using proprietary cables like you make it seem to be. And why would the iphone's proprietary cable be an issue? It can still connect to all computers with usb a port."
-Yeah if you carry the cable around you all day, while micro USB is available in any office.
"but the other side is the standard connector that can connect to any computer"
=> are you mentally challenged? if the other side of the cable is custom would you like us to call it 50% standard from now on?
"AVRCP is designed to provide a standard interface to control TVs, hi-fi equipment, or others to allow a single remote control (or other device) to control all the A/V equipment to which a user has access. It may be used in concert with A2DP or VDP."
-Bravo, you read the wikipedia. I didn;t say sound didn't work. The remote and microphone don't work in most of the headsets!
-Also watching a video is impossible because of terrible sututtering... gosh!
The iphone has been awarded the best smartphone.
-So have been a thousand phones before it but iPhone is the first one to get a worst hone award aswell =)))
-Yeah everyone who doesn't love it is 100% hater, down with the haters!
Anonymous, 14 Nov 2009What you need to get into your bird brain is. No matter what you say, all files are much easi... more"What you need to get into your bird brain is. No matter what you say, all files are much easier and convenient to organize if you use internal memory over memory cards. Especially when SYNCHING to a computer. You just plug your iphone to your computer and your done. No more double checking if you have the right card in there. No more pulling out of cards."
-What if you simply want to copy paste a file from a friend that doesn't have an iPhone?
He won't have iTunes so there's no accessing the device, he won't even have the custom cable to conect it. And bluetooth doesn't work on the iPhone.
A card reader? you can find those everywhere and the big ones you can hold on your key chain.
"I am not just talking about photos, but all files in general. For techie people, it's easy to set it up in the beginning for everything to be saved in the memory card. I had the N95 before so I know. But every once in a while, I will have other people come to me and ask me for help locating their files, especially music files. Some are saved in the internal memory and other in the memory card. When they play their music sometime they cannot find the songs that they saved. Sometimes songs don't even play."
Wrong again liar! you can put the music files wherever you want and the music player will automaticaly find them. Same with the sync.
And as you probably didn't know, N95 comes in two flavours 8GB with no sd slot and N95 with sd slot.
When you conect it in mass storage mode wich again you don't know what it is only the 16 or 32gb memory appears (depends on the sd size you have)
Yet again, YOU ARE A LIAR. proven and overproven.
Having only internal memory is cumbersome and pointless, you can't even use it for basic storage witohut your "custom" iphone cable.
So, as the other guy said, stop spreding lies and don't teach people what they need, they know for themselves!
