Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970iAm used in 50 times more searches on Google than any other phone:-
Bec's list of useless features has no bearing on the real smartphone world.
Bec doesn't like Nokia's, there are no current Nokia's that can film video above VGA.
Bec must be a Samsung or LG fan, but then they can't do some of the other things.
Bec must be a fantasy phone fan with no grasp on reality.
Bec should get a life and stop posting from that file, Bec has saved somewhere.

How do I watch stream sites like on pc?
It won't load on iPhone!

Pepsi, 08 Nov 2009That's not true. Force, who make STANDARD USB chargers work fine in my N97.It's strange the Brightpoint one's didn't work neither did a plantronics micro USB or Samsung micro USB charger.
I hope your enjoying the subpar experience the N97 delivers, I found it really annoying to use, YouTube clips have really low quality, the frames often stutter and the screen is fairly slow and non-responsive.

Here you can read more about them here:-
Why not do a search for *.sol files on your system you'll find them hidden in your application data folder under Adobe.
Those are flash cookies.
Anonymous, 08 Nov 2009So why don't you go into your browser settings and look for the part about Adobe flash cookies... moreMy browser deletes all the cookies on exit.
Unfortunately safari doesnt.
Apple makes plenty of revenue from advertising it's 3rd party docks, stands and other crappy accesories.
Anyway, enjoy the web like in 1996 with no games, no video, no music and no interactive content whatsoever aka. with no flash, that's what iPhone is for, grandma web experience.
And that list of features, it does sell phones, eg. half the people who come here looking for info won't buy a 600$ phone while there's plenty of 200$ ones that offer much more ;)
Adobe only came out with that statement after they got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, so to speak...
...so what else have they been doing behind your back to make money out of you?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Oh look it's the retart with the useless list of features that don't sell phones, how they hangin' Bec?

...they haven't fixed anything.
Apple don't make revenue from Ads I think you are confusing them with Google and the Chrome browser.
Enjoy being tracked by Adobe flash cookies even if you don't want to be, I guess their 'free' plug-in software isn't so free after all.
btw you can get a Firefox add-on that gets rid of them if you want to.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970But ok, let's say N97s keyboard is awkward, I should add for iPhone:
-iDon't have a keyboard but really if i'm to think at the design and camera of n 97, I'd rather compare iPhone with 5800.
Although you are a nokia hat r and you don't allow an objective conversation, feel free to scoop out other smartphones and enrich this nice iPhone doesn't list:

August 12, 2009
It's not that I use a flash player to watch my favorite shows 3 times a week, it's that the thing you talk about is already fixed and a software as complex as flash is bound to have vulnerabilities and there are plenty of java and html exploits far more worriable than sites wanting to count their users with a stupid cookie.
I'm not minimalising anything, somone died over an iPhone, you are the one that's minimalising.
Nokia is made all over the world and the keyboard is made acordingly to the region you buy it from.
Any european nokia I've ever got had all western, central and eastern languages.
As for safari, the data retrieval is there since the first release so that apple may know what sites it's users visit and where to properly insert the ads. There is NO privacy on safari and neither is any on the safari based iPhone browser.
It's good that macs are not as widespread as PCs because the notion of "OWN" can sometimes refer to just an account.

Here you go iSheep, it's... morewtf?
Can you even understand what you read?
The beta of Safari 4 keeps a history on YOUR OWN COMPUTER and generates a webpage also ON YOUR OWN COMPUTER, no where does it mention the nonsense you were going on about, it has nothing to do with the iPhone at all.

Flash cookies put browser cookies back because flash cookies AREN'T controlled in browser settings.
Some relevant information, keep living in your fantasy world of denial.
"The researchers, led by grad student Ashkan Soltani, found that Quantcast was one of several companies who used Flash cookies on the net’s most popular websites to re-spawn traditional browser cookies after users had deleted them."
"Adobe’s Flash player is a multimedia browser plug-in that is almost ubiquitous on the net and it lets websites store data about users in special folders on their hard drives. Deleting cookies or erasing one’s history does not clear Flash’s cookies, which are controlled by visiting a special Adobe web page."
"For its part, Adobe says it’s really not that hard to manage Flash cookies via its website, and that, as a browser plug-in, there’s no way currently for Flash to integrate with the cookie controls built into browsers."
Anonymous, 07 Nov 2009"and deleted the connection settings"
Indeed those "advanced" settings, that are locked out... moreIt depends on which part of the world you are in, here almost all the Nokia phones are made in China, they obviously hide what conditions are like their in their Chinese factories, you are a perfect example, trying to hide and minimise their existence.
The N97 we get here has two languages, English and Philipino, an iPhone sold anywhere on earth has over 40 languages including different characters like Arabic, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai etc, the languages can also be used with virtual keyboards, does the N97 have a detachable keyboard so you can change them?
A nokia charger (made in China with six months warranty) costs $40, a Nokia 1661 which has a charger included costs $49.
From my phone company website:-
"No access fee to use as a modem (tethering)*"
Guess what, it started working on the first day of the OS 3.0 update along with MMS.

Apple watches your every move, do you think they need flash cookies for that?
Do you know why iPhone does not render flash other that because the browser is outdated? because everything you browse is parsed via an apple server and enriched with iAdvertisings.
Enjoy beeing under constant control :)

As far as I've heard noone comited suicide at any of those factories unlike:
Premium price is what the 3GS costs 600-1200$ while the manufacturing costs are 100$ for a phone that can barely do mms and dreams of flash.
Have you ever heard of cookies beeing deleted when you exit the browser? how about add blockers? or WOW, brace yourself! FILTERS... using safari? thaught so...
Nnot having Adobe flash is a good thing.
So who is tracking YOU?

Indeed those "advanced" settings, that are locked out on the iPhone to force toy to pay for tethering, were not supposed to be deleted, however you can either give your number on the support site of your operator to recieve an autoconfig message or you should still have that message.
As for your apostrophe prombem (I don't) Get HoW yOu cAN usE A pC/mAc difficult isn'T it? all that shifting around?
Probably if you ever had a symbian you would have tried activating the "predictive text".
As for picking links, the only issue I ever had was on 3G where I had to zoom crazy to be able to select one.
