how many time i told u all, my iphone is low tech, im only happy while using my omnia HD
got mine a week ago and am qiite disappointed.I dont understand why everyone raves about this phone. To me its all quite dull and ordinary,I wish I went with windows again
i just got my iphone 3gs...and im super satisfied with its performance....iphones are really hot and appealing to all filipinos like me...however, some fake iphones and imitations are flooding the nation..how sad to be compared your orig iphone to a fake one..darn it!
Richard Mov, 24 Oct 2009your right about most of your comments but you forgot one thing its an iphone and with so many... moreThe world seems pretty hooked by advertising, and apple on "sleek" desgn - desigh that intereferes with battery life, camera, flash, USB (etc) and practical usability.
Also apple has absolutley no idea about programing, the whone "MAC" thing is actually just UNIX with "vague" modifications and a new UI.
The iPhone is powerfull as it is, but there's no software to benefit, they bought patents from erricson, they stole from nokia and still the device can't hope to be pair with either...
It's all about the hype...
Sill not convinced?:
And noone oposes apple as a mobile manufacturer.
The annoying part are the hypnotised kids that think they have WOW "smartphone" just because they paid 600$ and keep flooding all forums with advertising.
They just don't get they're still an experiment at the 3rd generation of phones made by apple that are -just phones-
You shouldn't listen to apples's advertising, because that's all they can do, you should take a refference device and see what the iphone's missing.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970your right about most of your comments but you forgot one thing its an iphone and with so many people accepting apple as a mobile phone manufacturer the wolrld is apples to own wait till the next gen it will be unbeatable for about 2 years, and the world will be hooked

WRONG WRONG WRONG. If water would cause build up of hydrogen and pressure, hydrogen would immediatly leak out; you wouldn't even know it was there.
Your statement is irrelevant anyway since higly charged lithium bateries are supposed to be held in WATER to be neutralised.
And if it gets damaged so air or water goes inside, it get's punctured right? Have you tried inflating a punctured baloon?
Please try and report your results!

Take a look at a Nokia battery, cells made in Japan assembled in China like almost every other Li-Ion battery.
mozo, 23 Oct 2009Samsung Omnia HD Wins! I agree the I8910 Omnia HD Wins its the best phone thats on the market right now. But like everything else by this time next year it wont be the best. Phones are already on the table thats better. Samsung has a phone coming called W880 it comes with a 3.3" Amoled screen 480 by 800, a full digital cam with a 12mp camera and hd recording @30fps also 1gh cpu Thats better than the Omnia hd. Dont no what the os is tho hope its Android. We all should be happy that tech is progressing but we can still hope they dont forget about us who are buying these expensive devices now.
Soulchild, 23 Oct 2009Wow clap clap, finally we have some tech talk in the iphone forum. What amazes me is this! If ... moreI agree with you @Soulchild i'm over the iphone its so old right now! Theres still no bluetooth!
Anonymous, 23 Oct 2009Unfortunately 3GS has just been released... to be par wit 2 year old phones... http://img59... moreThe iphone dont even have a front facing cam. Its missing alot of things that are now industry standards. The cpu drains the battery that you cant change. I play with the iphone alot and its not a bad device but its not highend. The speakers are very low and i will never understand why this phone cant bluetooth!

Wow clap clap, finally we have some tech talk in the iphone forum. What amazes me is this! If I buy the best computer on the market today and over two years has passed will I still think its the best computer? Of cause not! The iphone is outdated I dont understand why so many people fight for this phone when its not even in the top 20 best phones on the market right now. Come on, this phone has no bluetooth, a 3mp camera, 320 by 480 screen res, no radio and you have to jailbrake or download all sorts of apps just to play regular flash vids. OMFG this world is so far ahead of the iphone right now. Samsung has some lowend phones out right now with better hardware specs than the iphone. Would someone pls tell me why pay all that money for a lowend phone when I could get a highend phone for around the same price and in some cases even less. Let me tell you guys were technology is today. I8910 hd aka Omnia hd, LG BL40, Toshiba TG01, Omnia 2, Pixon12, and with lots of Android phones coming why spend all that money for a phone that wont even bring you up to date. Watch now, these iphone users will be all over this cause they cant accept that their expensive phone is now outdated. Come on, after over two years do you think that technology has not advanced?
Anonymous, 23 Oct 200922v ~5000mAh batteries aren't used in phones much.
Plastic, plastic, plastic.
http://ima... more"The swelling comes from a build up of hydrogen gas, I've seen plenty of plastic Nokia batteries with that symptom."
Since you don't even know how nokia builds it's batteries, I doubt you've ever seen one at all.
Hydrogen gas? boy you are so green you haven't even started chemistry class, elements don't yeld other elements (eg. led don't become gold)
There are may ways of making lithium bateries but neither li-Po (google mendeleev) not Li-ion (do you actually know what ionizing means?) contain ANY hidrogen gas.
And if there was a build up, the molecular mass of hydrogen would allow it lo leak before any visible swelling occurs. But I bet that's wayyy to SF for you school boy. Even hard to believe isn't it?
As for apple's batteries made in japan you said? well lithium is one highly reciclable substance so I guess that if they really were that "eco-friendly: the batteries would have been made either in US or by foxconn.
This again proves they're nothing but frauds.

Either way, 2004 is indeed where apple is standing from a technological point of view.

Nokia uses Li-Ion anyway, but that doesn't stop them swelling.
