Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970It means I have a choice, I can buy music from iTunes, I can rip my old LP's, tapes and CD's or I can download music from other sources and add it to my library.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970There's friction here because of silly comments from people like you. You iphone haters always complain about how expensive the iphone and its data plan is. You haters also complain about paying for apps. Based on your complains and the scenario of depending solely on your phones to browse the web because you guys don't probably own computers and laptops, I can't help but get the impression that you are low income individuals. Sorry, but you guys gave me that impression.
Anonymous, 05 Aug 2009Yes,not meant for long web browsing. Limit your time to 30 minutes a day!I use my iphone longer than 30 minutes a day. More like 4 hrs a day, but sporadically. I have a computer and a phone at my office. I have my laptop in my car, and I have my imac at home as well. Why? Is your phone your only means of web browsing? Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I totally forgot that there are people like you who probably can't afford laptops and desktop computers, so you end up using your phone to browse all day. I'm sorry. No wonder your phone overheated. So you see it's not fair for anyone to blame Apple when the problem is on some low income users abusing their iphones because it's their only access to the internet :)

Those users need to be told that the iphone is not supposed to be continually used for 24hrs. They need to give it some rest as well. I can't blame them for using their iphones nonstop though. It has so many useful apps that you can't seem to stop yourself from using it for hours :)

win mo developers gotta step it up.

California is hot, but I'm even hotter, hahahahahaha

i might consider the iphone again if apple really upgrades the camera and change the style.
i prefer my smartphones to be all-around.

Brenda, 04 Aug 2009Well it's better not to judge at all, especially on things or people you don't know much about... moreit was an assumption not a judgement. you just judge me by saying have a poor judgement.
i am a hater? you just judged me again.
didnt you read a sentence of mine in my previous comments. i also owne an iphone 3g. i hardly use it though.
video recording is available to a jailbroke iphone.
whether the application is free or not, developers will develop better applications.
therock, 04 Aug 2009win mo's great too. Yeah, winmo is so great that htc, lg and samsung are trying very hard to conceal it by masking it with their own UI (touchflo, touchwiz, s-class). It's so great that several winmo devices would rather use opera as their native web browser instead of ie, lol. Sorry, winmo is alright. It was great before, but they somehow stagnated and became uninspired, which is sad. I would like to see winmo rise again and be a strong competitor once more. I know it can, they just have to work harder.
therock, 04 Aug 2009one wrong assumption doesnt make a person have poor judgement.
no offense, but i think you ... moreWell it's better not to judge at all, especially on things or people you don't know much about :)
I am no sucker. I just want to give a fair comment, unlike you who seem to be a hater.
I upgraded to the 3gs mainly for its speed and video capabilities. Also for its improved screen (smuge and water resistant) and improved music player and improved maps, and improved camera, voice commands, and I'm sure there are others that I don't even know about.
Free apps are of course better, but I do want to support developers and compensate them for their work. That would encourage them to develop better apps.
I was referring to piracy, not jailbreaking.

no offense, but i think you are sucker. only difference of the iphone 3g and 3g-s is the software and mp. the minor upgrade isnt even worth the cost.
free applications are always better than application with fees.
a jail broke iphone isnt illegal?
