Gold, 02 Aug 2009Hi!!! I hav seen many post in which people wrote that they hav upgraded iPhone 3g to 3.0... Af... moreI updated to 3.01 last night and 3.0 on the day it was released, no problems, then my iPhone 3G is not jailbroken.
Anonymous, 02 Aug 2009Yeah well the n95 has 2 speakers you twit and it doesnt distort.

Loud phone speakers are for annoying kids who hang round in shopping malls playing badly distorted crap music, much to the consternation of other mall users.
Especially in the food court which is a losers idea of paradise.
very quick to use. slick. intuitive. thoughtful device. big app-store and developer following. Good virtual keyboard (unlike TG01 for instance) that is responsive and devastatingly quick to use in landscape. (moderate in portrait only).
BUT - battery drained in a flash. big lump of plastic if you actually use all the above pros at all. :( oh yes, and higher res pls.
Dani, 01 Aug 2009I don't think Loudness matters to be honest, The more louder the phone is the more distortion ... moreYeah well the n95 has 2 speakers you twit and it doesnt distort.
You were the one that called the iphone a toy.
Even at like 70% the n95 loudspeaker or music player is still louder then any iphone!!
I can hear when my n95 rings in a loud enviroment like the food court at the mall.Lots of people talking.Maybe 200. Good luck on that one with the iphone.
I haven't had an iPhone but I do own an iPod Touch, so I can't say the iPhone is the best or whatever but I can say as a phone/tech lover that the iPhone wasn't really that much of a big deal until this 3GS came out, I'll admit that with the first one I was all hyped and desperate to have it but I never bought it because of everthing it was missing. Then the 3G came out and since it didn't really update anything I though it wasn't worth the money until apple made an iPhone with more updates to it, and I don't like jailbreaking, so the 3G didn't convince me either, but now, I'm seriously thinking of getting the 3GS, because it FINALLY has the basics, except for BT file transfers and I would prefer an MSN account rather than using the yahoo service. Still to all the apple haters, I say that this one actually is worth the money on contract, yes, it's expensive as are other phones with similiar specs but this iPhone is decent enough to make me think of buying it. Maybe you should stop complaining and just love your own phones for what they are to you. And as a "request" of what I would like to see on the next update or iPhone is flash support for the web, the Safari browser is awesome and I don't like seeing thos blue squares saying that I don't have the newest version of flash. But I think Apple is going in the right direction.
Hi!!! I hav seen many post in which people wrote that they hav upgraded iPhone 3g to 3.0... After 3.0 they r recieving problems.... So they r downgrading to 2.2 again...
I want to know why people r downgrading to 2.2...
Wat type of problems r u recieving when u upgrade to 3.0...
Waiting for ur reply...
I am really very happy with my iphone 3gs. Although I do have some features and improvements on my wish list for the next iphone.
1. Though the iphone already has a very good display, I have to admit that I envy the Omnia HD and the HTC Touch Pro2 display resolution. I wish iphone would upgrade its screen resolution.
2. Even though the iphone's back cover is made of high quality plastic, I wish the next one would have aluminum, if not, rubberized matte back cover.
3. Haptic feedback along with a short beep when you touch an icon would be nice as well. With an option to turn it off and on of course.
4. Several themes would be nice to have as well. I like the simple black background on current iphones, but it would be nice to be able to change it every once in a while.
As I have said, I really, really like my new iphone 3gs. This is the first phone that I've ever had that really has actively become a part of my lifestyle. The iphone is more than just a phone for me. It is a tool that helps me get through my day more conveniently. It's like my personal assistant in a way. Way to go iphone :)
Is the difference between the Iphone 3gs and the regular 3g are that big for buying the 3gs instead of the latter one?
Because here where i live, people are selling the 3gs for almost three times the 3g, that means almost 2 thousand dollars.
excuse me people....i am former directing manager of nokia i am amazed with new iphone 3gs....its extremely hified,,,,teched..and u all guys know that nokia new n97 iz launched its not as good as the previous one...the n96 and n95...they both were good phone bt this n97 is very thick and it always get hangs means it get freezee the main problem and touch senstivity is very poor...as compare to iphone 3gs....so please dont buy n97,,,,iphone3gs is much better than n97...

I have used windows based mobile phones for quite a while now, such as htc touch pro, samsung i900(omnia).
I just upgraded to iphone 3gs after keeping an eye on the reviews and i just have to say that this is by far the best and most versatile handset i have ever used!the apps are simply amazing, one game in particular i played alongside a nokia n96 (need for speed underground) iphone smashed the n96 in gaming graphics and playback ability..i was totally amazed by this and all the other 90 apps i have downloaded so fsr!..keep up the good work apple! just one thing though, maybe an upgrade in O.S to enable iphone to have drop and drag ability like most other phones??

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970iPhone is for people who a phone which can do anything and has great Applications and good touch-UI phone, and yeah i own iPhone's sister the iPod Touch - and will soon be getting iPhone because i'm sick of my N95 lol
Anonymous, 01 Aug 2009Lol, that made me chuckle. We did a side by side test - my N95 8gb blew the I-phone away volum... moreThats right, even the loudspeaker on any of the iphones is quiet especially in a noisy enviroment compared to the n95.
Brenda, 01 Aug 2009I suggest you make an appointment to see your audiologist. The iphone's ringtones and alerts ... moreLol, that made me chuckle. We did a side by side test - my N95 8gb blew the I-phone away volume wise. I didn't say i could'nt hear the I-Phone, i said it was quiet in comparison, and it most definitely is - even my mate who is very very pro Apple, admitted it's a weakness in the I-Phone. So no i won't be seeing an audiologist yet thanks.
