MAHATHIR, 24 Jul 2009for those who say iphone is the best...definitely u didnt try samsung omnia yet..its the best ... morethe iphone outsold your omnia, so please stop spreading the hate. the omnia's screen is pretty much useless outdoors. it's only worthy feature is its camera, which is not enough to topple what the iphone offers.
Mad M, 24 Jul 2009rubbish phone..
-function..too simple for smartphone(u s... morethe iphone's camera takes good pictures and very good videos so stop hating. simplicity is a good thing and it does mean being user friendly and giving the best user experience. the iphone's speaker is not as loud as the others, but it is not extremely low as you said it is, again, stop hating. the iphone is intended for mid to high earners, so don't expect it to be cheap. web browsing on the iphone is among the best, if not the best. you do not need flah support just to browse the web, so again, stop hating. you can view excel and word files on the iphone just fine, you can also synch outlook into your iphone. that's usually done by your company's IT administrator.
if you are heavy on remote office work, what you really need would be a laptop, not a smartphone. a smartphone can only do so much. a smartphone is ideal for reading and replying emails, calendar, task manager and organizer, and social networking as well. and the iphone covers all of those features effectively plus more.
Shadrach, 24 Jul 2009Omnia is nice. I am using the i900 and still loving it. It all depends on how you want to us... moreyou're not completely happy with your omnia. i can tell because you're here in the iphone's comment page :)
Anonymous, 24 Jul 2009multi tasking on the 3GS? Steve Jobs is a mongaloid! lol what a heap of garbagefull multi tasking is something that i would require from a desktop computer or a laptop. i don't think it's must on a phone.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970if a hardware qwerty keyboard a must for you, then the N97 would be your obvious choice. if taking pictures using your phone is a regular feature that you use, the omnia hd would be the one for you. if you plan to use the phone to regularly browse the web, download 3rd party apps, and want the best music player in town, the iphone is your best choice.
symbian os market share 2008 q4 47% RIM BlackBerry 19.5% windows mobile 12.4% iphone os 11% . the most beautiful thing about iphone u can find alot of apps to use like its real pc i agree it dont have good features but good nice os and very nice touchscreen but also it dont deserve the price of around 900$ for the iphone 3gs 16 gb , apple should add more and better features and it will rule that market for real .
good news for iphone, you can get Navigon for your Navigation System offline. I just try it today. It is very nice and very useful. Try the Navigon Lite, you will see the graphic and many options. You can also search nearby: restaurant, hotel, club, bar,etc without internet connection. Check it out.
Dave, 24 Jul 200910 years ahead of the competition? what?
no flash in web browser
no bluet... moreAll those things you've listed are typical Nokia gimmicks..
Brick? oh isn't that the N95!
Overheating? oh Nokia 6300 does
Poor call quality? oh yeah N70 had that
basically you've just listed Nokia's problems
multi tasking on the 3GS?
Steve Jobs is a mongaloid! lol

Shadrach, 24 Jul 2009Omnia is nice. I am using the i900 and still loving it. It all depends on how you want to us... moresee..i told ya..real live testimonial from me n Shadrach...for now..omnia is way better then iphone..it fits everything that u need...rite..??perfect..
MAHATHIR, 24 Jul 2009for those who say iphone is the best...definitely u didnt try samsung omnia yet..its the best ... moreOmnia is nice. I am using the i900 and still loving it. It all depends on how you want to use a phone. I wanted an all-in-one phone so I got an omnia instead of the iphone almost a year ago. Now if I can afford an omina then definitely I can afford an iphone...but i am not convinced that the iphone will fit my needs so i'll stick to my omina for now.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 197010 years ahead of the competition if it was competing against the Nokia 5110. LOL. Get real.....we know you love your iphone but wake up already.
-function..too simple for smartphone(u suppose to control everything in the phone)(doesn't mean if it's user friendly it simplified everything and every control just to make sure the 9 year old boy can use it and for us to suffer)
-sound..extremely slow for me
-pricing..too expensive for less
-browsing experience..no flash for browser(i thoght they say its meant for browsing)
-feature..if im not wrong no excel, word & outlook(so u cant do ur thang on ur phone)
i mean like...just save ur money..buy a good smart phone and an ipod if u really crazy over apple product because apple is not a good phone manufacturer but a good pc manufacturer..think about it..
for those who say iphone is the best...definitely u didnt try samsung omnia yet..its the best phone ever created yet..beat the crap out of iphone,n-series,e-series and sony ericson phones..it have everything that u need plus more...seriously,compare to iphone??just a toy to omnia..not even close competitor..
Anonymous, 01 Jan 197010 years ahead of the competition? what?
no flash in web browser
no bluetooth file transfer
low volume output when headphones plugged in
size of a brick
poor call quality
yeah, thats really 10 years ahead isnt it? lol
ITs selling for RM1999 for Iphone 3G and RM2499 Iphone 3GS no contract and unlock in malaysia ~
Had this since the 19th June and I’m still not board with it which is very unusual for me.
A much better phone than all the Nokia’ s I’ve ever had I’ve had all of the top models except for the N97.
Might of gone for it if Nokia had gone with the capacitive touchscreen and not the resistive touchscreen
