hye, 20 Jul 2009i agree the iphone is for 16-25 year old teens that love technology. while nokias are for aca... morewe'll let's just say iphone is tested thru time to be expensive and popular while nokia phones would just last a month or two and another unit comes out and your phone just goes down the drain with you.....
This phone is a BIG letdown.
The camera has been upgraded from a 2mp from the previous iPhone (LOL) to a... 3mp (LMAO!) This is 2009 not the year 2000.
The screen is VERY poor compared to the AMOLED touch screen of the Samsung Jet.
But those things shouldn't matter because now we can do advanced actions on the phone like... COPY AND PASTE (ROFL!)
Seriously, this phone is highly priced for poor features. You can buy cheaper phones which outperform the iPhone in every way. Also the fact that this phone has been reported by many people as having widespread overheating problems, I wouldn't touch this phone. AVOID.
it is impossible to write an sms while walking/travelling, etc , eat thissss!!!
hye, 20 Jul 2009i agree the iphone is for 16-25 year old teens that love technology. while nokias are for aca... morepeople....all u do just complains about this n that...i-phone rocks...all other phone sucks...especially NOkia...that's just dumb cheap material phone,,,with high price
Is any one having problem with e mail on their iphone 3gs? It just started today.
richy, 18 Jul 2009Iphone 3gs IS the BEST phone on the market... unlimited apps for almost anything! if you speak... morewho needs gazillions of apps if iphones could not deliver the usual useful applications we nokia users have been using for granted... and for that price?? its a stick-up man...
Anonymous, 20 Jul 2009iphone is for all ages. thats how good it is. thats what separates iphone from nokias. nokias ... moreare we living on d same planet? LOL.. ur iphone cant depart from its antiquated design for the last two years. They all look the same. talk about innovation. it could be ground breaking before but that was two long yers ago. ancient times in tech world..also it took them 2 years to realize that we cellfone users could use cut and paste and forwarding of msgs which is already antiquated nokia features. no file organizer, no multi tasking, very poor batt life, no blutooth file transfer, no flash support, divx etc Shameful sound from a single ill-located speaker which your hand covers while holding it and a 3mgp camera with no shutter key and flash for a high end fone? its a rip-off man.. YOU were duped and just trying hard to be in the game to show off ur boss LOL..
hye, 20 Jul 2009i agree the iphone is for 16-25 year old teens that love technology.
while nokias are for aca... moreiphone is for all ages. thats how good it is. thats what separates iphone from nokias. nokias are for old people, they dont have that mental ability anymore to learn new interfaces. they need louder speaker because of hearing problems. they need keyboards to text and type. they dont have that physical ability anymore to learn touchscreen phones, and they have poor eyesight.
iphone is versatile enough to please teens and professionals like me. here in my country ive seen doctors, and office managers using iphone 3G and 2G, im an architect,i use iphone 3G and my boss uses an
iphone 3gs. nokia is for oldies who are not into cellphones anymore, teens wont like it because its boring, and people living their prime today will love an iphone, so dont talk about iphone is for kids.LOl thats ridiculous. youre living in your time today and iphone is the prime in your time. unless you are one of those oldies, i will understand if you dont like iphone.LOL
Kay, 18 Jul 2009LOL you can't copy someone in "popularity" hahahyes you can. i want you to look at an blackbery packaging design and they look like the iphone packaging. which phone company is older apple or blackberry.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970...and i suppose youre a 15 year teen that loves technology. i use my n85 to access you tube facebook while playing 3d games on it and making calls while listening to internet radio while charging and syncing and it never gets hot so try doing that with your iphone little boy.l i access you tube on the iphone and the phone gets hot so imagine doing things im doing.
Diero, 18 Jul 2009Hi, i got a big problem! I can't choose between the 3G S and the Omnia HD.. Can somebody tell ... moreOmnia HD umm... hello!! Omnia "HD" iphone doesnt have hd so no hd content for iphone.
Anonymous, 18 Jul 2009obviously you are not a heavy user. How to make any phone hot, link it to a PC via Bluetoot... morewell you are obviously not a very good battery saver. what can you possibly do with this phone that kills battery easily theres no downloading manager, no flash player, half of the sites need compatibility to proper html and theres no text wrapping, some sites content are all over the place except the sites that accept iphone such as transform the webpage for the iphone.
Anonymous, 18 Jul 2009There is no issue with overheating, one report got overblown because the iPhone is so popular ... morei agree the iphone is for 16-25 year old teens that love technology.
while nokias are for academic excellence customers, and as london a great smart place they should be doing that. nokias are a more formal phones they fit in with any social event.
while the iphone is more like for teens that like attention, such as "hey bro!! is that an iphone? lemme see"
but me in australia there are iphone posters everywhere around australia which makes people go crazy, i look close at it and the terms and conditions are funny as there like very unfair and torturing, but heh people will do anything in australia to get their hands on it no matter what the redicoulous plan is.
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2009What heating issue? There were a few troublemakers trying to put this phone down but it was... morethat's gr8 to hear. thnx for the info. i was about to get the iphone 3g aftr hearing about the heating issue.
I got my iphone 3GS unlocked phone from http://www.modmyi.com/forums/iphone-news/622671-new-iphone-3gs-s-speed-29.html#post4872247 and really love it
thanks for your reply, i do know a few friends who have the jailbroken iphone also but do not have the battery issue. its a pain but i guess i got a bad batch :'-(
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Some of the jailbroken Apps can really drain the battery and use a lot of resources, especially the one that changes themes.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You said this:-
"N97 is much better, in most areas it beats the 3GS!"
The processor 434MHz ARM 11 vs 600MHz ARM 8, that's one area the 3GS beats the N97
RAM 128MB vs 256MB, thats another one.
No hardware graphics acceleration vs PowerVR SBX, and another one.
3.6Mbps HSDPA vs 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, things aren't looking too good for the N97 at this point.
Composite video out vs component video out another area the 3GS beats the N97.
584 applications available in OVI store vs 65,000 Apps in App store hmm another area.
Plastic resistive screen, no multitouch, poor scrolling through S60v5 lists vs glass, capacitive screen multitouch and flick to scroll throughout the entire OSX based system... N97 isn't looking so good now, is it?
Old camera, same as the N95 meh iPhone's been competing against that since 2007, yawn where's something new?
