this phone is good when it works but unless ur a proper geek its gonna give u a massive headache tryin to set up some of the features, wish id just got a phone and not a toy
I've personally had the Iphone for about a year, and what i conclude from my experience is that after some amount of time, you get bored of the iPhone... So i say if you need a handy phone to use for emailing and such uses, i would recommend the Blackberry... And if you are getting an iPhone, i wouldn't waste any extra money for the 3GS because the differences between 3G and 3GS are nonsense, so you should save yourself a 100 bucks...
Great phone but way too overpriced.
..joey.., 17 Jul 2009what about the heating issues of the iPhone 3GS???What heating issue?
There were a few troublemakers trying to put this phone down but it was all rubbish.

Just got my iPhone 3GS for a week. The app in the App store are amazing many. From app showing u the facilities nearby you To the app for you to work on your office doc and excel.
The main disappointing stuffs about iPhone is that the camera is only 3.2M pixels and the 2X zoom is more like a screen magnifying(the camera button on the screen gets bigger when u zoom in)
As for Radio, I saw some app that allows you to tune to internet radio. The internet surfing is pretty quick as per compare with other smartphone.
I have been a user of Nokia, O2 and Sony Ericsson and so far iPhone is one of the top phone that I have used.

What happens for the other 21 months?
As i have been saying
1) Any company that dose not have a Flagship "Truly World Class Business Phone " will loose market share . After P910 SE has steadily going down the drain... ditto with Motorola.
2) Look at HTC , Nokai E90 , Nokia E71 ... These companies are gaining market share because of their flagship business phones
3) Apple has yet not reached its full potential and will do so only when they have a great business phone
Optus Australia is dropping the price for the iphone3g 8gig. $0 upfront for the $49cap and comes with 3months of UNLIMITED data allowance @_@
p0$t yer numbers here and i'll try to c@ll you ^_^
I have been using Nokia's for years and am looking at a change, hopefully for the better. Can you stream into radio stations with this phone? Also, as it appears not to have Bluetooth, how do you transfer information from one device to another and hook up to a handsfree car kit? I know the Samsungs seem to have everything going for them but after looking on youtube at how fluent the iphone 3gs is compared with other makes, I think this phone seems quite refined and looks as though it does everything its ment to very well. Am i correct??
Thanks,
DX
therock, 17 Jul 2009you are missing one point. for the people that prefer an all around device the iphone isnt one... moreApparently from what you've said before you had a 2G for less than a month, you never even used the App store, your opinion is worthless.
Time to go pick up your pay packet from Nokia, what's the going rate for spiv's these days?

att smartphones are weak so thats why the iphone is on top. put an n97 or a samsung omnia or even the n95 beside the iphone in the att store and there will be a competition.
again i owned an iphone before and i got bored of it.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes you can listen to a song while surfing the Internet, the iPhone is very good at multitasking BECAUSE IT IS RESTRICTED TO NATIVE APPS!
Third party Apps don't multitask so the phone works better.
