windows ... moreYou got it wrong, iPhone is for those who want to just pick it up and start using it.
WinMo phones are for nerds who want to spend fifteen hours hunched over their keyboard, the pale light of the monitor bathing their pasty faces and washing across the floor of their parents basement, as they customize the latest ROM in order to get their hacked up POS into a form that is usable.

Pointless when we have unlimited internet wire... moredame right, who uses video calling but noobz who dont know where to put their money on?
with telstra.. telstra so far has the best coverage here in asutralia and many other networks even borrow telstras cable and fibre optic lines (like optus, 3, voda, etc), but telstras plans kinda sucks and most of the people who use telstra are geriatrics and WW2 veterans @_@
iphone, 28 Jun 2009I phone cant make video call Why????????????In reply to Iphone>
Who uses video calling?
Pointless when we have unlimited internet wireless plans and web cams.
I agree dude. I'm on the $49 cap about $500 credit, unlimited txt and 250mb of included download/upload. Not as fast as telstra but better service. $19 a month for the phone and $14.95 for an extra 500mb
>>>with optus, you can get the 16gig 3GS fer 59cap for an additional $8 (or $14 for the 32gig) a month. with the 59cap there's unlimited sms already and an included call value of $680.
me thinks that's the best package fer the 3GS at the moment, so go ahead and check with optus @_@
I finally got my new iPhone 3GS on Friday (Australia's release day) and it is awesome. Giving my old 16gb 3G to a friend. Gonna get them hooked as well. :D
Agrees with OPTUSmus Prime @_@,
i just got the iphone on the day it came out and it was pretty good to use i guess, except when i thought about it i'm lazy to touch text because normal phones i'd use dictionary texting. hmm havent gotten any red streaks on my iphone yet, got a mirror screen protector :d planning to get leather case soon! im wondering if i stuffed up my battery or something though.
the sony x1 is a far better phone, at least if your phone crashes you wont loose anything!! you can replace the battery quickly, you dont have to get it serviced at just one place, you dont have to depend on itunes, you have a better camera, chargers ect are cheaper, you can add more memory the list go's on and on and on....
i'm going to purchase my 1st iphone once it's made available in my country. i would like to know wat's the currency (will there be like any hidden cost as not incl in the text?) it's in when i make my purchase fm appstore SINGAPORE? is there limitation to the quantity of software applications installed on the fone? lastly, can the fone multi-task like opening several applications @ a time? tia for any prompt reply! cheers.

Yes, there has been a problem REPORTED with ONE iPhone 3GS overheating. There has been ONE case REPORTED IN FRANCE where a white iPhone now has two red streak where heat was ALLEGED TO cause the paint to discolour."
Details are sketchy and there is not much information on what else may have caused it.
Over a million were sold and one shows up like this, it doesn't even look like a 3GS.
Anonymous, 27 Jun 2009haha nobody gives a damn what you say because you are just an iphone hater! thats all you are ... moreok disabled persons and seniors are not the only people who use nokias. you really need to grow up! I love the Apple brand, i own the iTouch, a iPod classic, and a Macbook Pro. My phone right now is a sony erricson and i am quite interested in getting a Nokia N97 right now, which has way better ratings than this phone. I am not going to stick by this phone just because it is an apple, there are better phones out there, and I still love the Apple brand and their products. Simple as that =)
gemini, 28 Jun 2009i heard tht iphone 3G S gets warmed up too soon... more than the previous phones. is tht true???????Yes, there has been a problem with the iPhone 3GS overheating. There have been cases where white iPhones now have two red streak where the heat has caused the paint to discolour.
