Yasir Mansoor, 27 Jun 2009For those who are using 3G! Did you guys find iPhone 3G slow or any need to upgrade to this... morePersonally, I don't feel the need to upgrade. It's not much different, and at the moment there's no 3GS specific apps (Not that I know of, anyway) so why upgrade? Personally I think it is a bit overrated, especially with all the other phones coming out. I think I'll keep my 3G iPhone.
For those who are using 3G!
Did you guys find iPhone 3G slow or any need to upgrade to this 3g(s), and for the camera com'on 3.5MP is way back man, for 400$ i can easily get 8Mp phone, so what's the need to bring such a hype to an ordinary upgraded phone ?
Jazza, 27 Jun 2009Went from an iphone 3G to a Windows mobile back to a 3Gs, Best thing i have ever done!!!! the ... moreTelstra would have to be the most over priced network in Australia. Even their staff get plans with other networks!
Jarred, 27 Jun 2009Went from the old 2 the new.... Fantastic
Faster, video, 3mp camera, 7.2 HSDPA.
everything o... moreGet it from Telstra???
What are you a millionaire or something their data charges are extortionist.
Voda has 7.2 up and running anyway so will match the speed.
Don't forget Vodafone had the first HSDPA network up and running in Australia.
Can someone using this comment on the battery life? Kindly state how u gauge the measuring. E.g. time approx time online, music, calls, etc.
bonzai, 27 Jun 2009hey guys! i'm just wondering is the battery of the iphone 3GS is way better than the iphone 3G... moreThat's quite a big difference between 1 day or 2. As long it can last about 1 full day i think its reasonable. It all depends on how is your usage. More online will drain down the battery faster than using for calls & music.
Went from an iphone 3G to a Windows mobile back to a 3Gs, Best thing i have ever done!!!! the 3Gs is so much quicker.... even internet is fast (recomend Telstra) makes the 3G look second class Battery life is also much better i have been using mine non stop all day and still full battery!!
CH, 26 Jun 2009Have used the iphone 3g for 6 months and can only say it is brilliant, best phone I have ever ... moreWent from the old 2 the new.... Fantastic

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Well why don't you go source the parts yourself and make your own.
till now apple 3g is the best cause i have both aplle 3g is much better than apple 3gs
3gs overheats turns a weird colour.
Great phone! The apps are what make it a great phone.
But there's just one thing preventing me from recommending this fine piece of kit.
For crying out loud! £550 on Pay As You Go?! LOL No thank you, I will not buy it. I paid £400 for a 16GB iPhone 3G, and the least they could do is make the new iPhone 3GS cheaper.
Again, excellent Smartphone, albeit no multi-tasking (PUSH notifications suck, especially if you've been a BlackBerry user), the Apple app store is just excellent as well.
If you can afford it, then I can recommend it, if not, or if you don't like throwing away money, you're better off elsewhere, or getting a cheap iPhone 3G.
I'm waiting for full reviews! Why does it takes so long? I'm would like to see iPhone 3GS reviews!
where is my mms on this stupid phone ATT got us again
they always get us
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hey hani, we iPhone owners are smarter than you non-iPhone owners; therefore we have better jobs than you non-iPhone owners and get paid so much more than you, so the price is something we can afford. Get yourself a better job and buy your own iPhone and stop crying about a phone you can't afford.
Simply the best phone i ever had!!!! but as the new 3GS has been launched with video facility, great graphics and more gigs, isnt it a marketing strategy to pull more audience and may be in future Apple will launch a new iPhone next year with a full Bluetooth for data tranfer. cant decide if its worth changing to 3gs now.... or wait one more yr.
