hey we thought about putting a 12 megapixel camera into our phone with a xenon flash
(cut to picture of bulky elvis iphone)
but our customers would not like that.
we also thought about doing a removable battery
(cut to someone digging about for a spare and changing) but our customers would not like that.
we also thought how many people have you seen doing a video call today
(cut to dusty street with tumbleweed)
but most our customers would not use that.
(fade to white + writing)
Just simple sensible features.
Iphone making like easy one step at a time.
Shafique, 22 Jun 2009 when writing an Email on the 3GS, can you add attachments such as pictures, videos and email... moreTo add pictures and videos to an email you have to start off in the picture and video viewer (it is called the camera roll on the phone), there is an icon to press that lets you add the video or photo to and email. however if you already started an email, there is no add attachment button, you have to copy and paste the photo. I found this to only work with photos not videos

Sorry to trouble you guys but anyone got some good ideas for conserving the battery a bit on new 16G
should i buy iphone 3g or 3gs?? is it worth to throw more money onto the 3gs ?? ur opinion is appreciated !!
Masum/Bangladesh, 22 Jun 2009I have 3G.I didnt get 3gs yet.I want to know more.I personally feel that the Iphone 3GS is a huge upgrade indeed. The upgrade in speed is immediately noticeable and voice control is very VERY cool and useful (I drive alot so it helps not to look away from road). the upgrades storage capacities give you easily enough for weeks of music and tons of movies, not to mention the higer-res pictures you'll be taking.
Video recording is very good quality and the pictures themselves are noticeably better than on the 3G and original iphone. The pictures taken in dark are better too thanks to camera software upgrades.
If you have a 3G, it might be worth your while to upgrade since you could sell your 3G for like 200-250 bucks, more or less. I sold my 3G to my friend for 100 bucks and then got the new one for 200 with contract. I'd say it was a pretty good deal.
I have my shiny new Iphone 3gS in white. First impressions? Well i was an ipod touch user so i am pretty familar to the app store and how the O.S works. I did have a Samsung Omnia HD i8910 but was less than impressed with the lack of bespoke applications for the phone. The Iphone is class above any other handset when it comes to ease of use and functionality. Instead of having to use the annoying web browser's, i now have apps specific for the likes of Facebook, MSN, Hotmail and Twitter.
Those who slate it? Well i understand why. On paper the spec is years behind its competitors. But spend a day with the Iphone and you will see what the fuss is about.
I think most people love to hate it because its made by Apple!
excellent features, i will definitely have to change my previous iphone!
the cpu is confirmed 800mhz and the camera 720p
maybe they will unlock these option in a future firmware upgrade
Had the phone two days and seem to be charging it constantly is this normal? oh i have the 16G 3G(s)
Can Microsoft office (or anything similar) be loaded in this mobile? Is there copy and paste function in this?
Yes you can add atachments to your email, you can transfer files using bluetooth and of course you can run multiple applications simultaneously.
when writing an Email on the 3GS, can you add attachments such as pictures, videos and email them to your friends?
i read somehwere that you cant add attachements?
also.... can you bluetooth files from your i-phone 3GS to another i-phone, or Nokia or Samsung etc?
can this device run multiple applications at once?
It might sound like a dubm question, but is it possible to install Maple or Mathematica on 3G S?
I have the iphone 3Gs 32g. I do like all the upgrades and new features. Apple has basicly given the iphone features that many onther phones have had for years. However the phone is still lacking some usefully functions found in other phones, such as adding attachment while in an email (you can do this via copy and paste for photos), no bluetooth file transfers, no external memory card, no removable battery. But for right now this is the phone I enjoy using the most, the interface is great. There are many phones out there that match or even pass the features of the iphone, but what really makes the iphone a little better than other phones (even with the iphone missing some basic features) are the Apps. It is like in the computer world, there are better OS than windows, but it is the software avail that makes windows win.
