Finally, a decent camera and apparently also an improved battery! These were the two main things holding me back from getting an iPhone (there were others but most of them have been resolved). Still unhappy about the lack of Flash support as many of the websites I regularly visit use it, but other phones also still struggle with that.

if this is the new iphone and the specs are true ... WHAT A JOKE.. !! lol is apple haveing a laugh or what ..lol .. really !! why dont they put more work and sweat in to the iphone and not the crap ipad... i hope this isnt the iphone 4g because its going to be a really bad let down..!!

read the internet, apple lost a phone, and someone sold it to gizmodo! don't speak when you don't know anything.
Gizmodo opened the iphone and that's why they have the specs!

If you read at the top GSM have said "Unofficial preliminary specifications
"
In other words they are guessing. No one knows what Apple have up their sleeves so relax.

Fake specs. as all the popular sources listed the specs by themselves based on speculations. Battery is Lithium Polymer. not TFT screen but OLED or AMOLED screen. some one put video on you tube showing actual larger 4" screen degitizer. THis does't reflect Apple's design standard at all. this looks so cheap. I wonder people will put comments like touch input pen, Bluetooth data transfer between devices including everything etc.etc..etc... LOL...

Why do they say TFT scre... moredude, its in the rumored section.. it doesn't hurt to logically predict the specs compared to the former iphone..
secondary cam is a fact
as is the 3.5" display, although I suspect its not TFT
they wouldn't strip important features like scratchresistant surface and so on so its safe to say they're on there as well..
5 MP cam is probably right too
the resolution is just plain bs I suppose..

Now Apple has totally ripped LG Prada design :)
Earlier they stole the idea of touch phone, now design.

I've been an Apple user for years because they made devices to provide the best overall experience for the users.
But, since the first iPhone, the focus of the whole company had changed to making their CEO happy (and richer?) instead of further enriching the experiences for users.
The iPhone 4G is a perfect example. Mobile phones should be easy to use as well as practical devices that can take everyday abuse. At 140g in weight and glass on both sides, I only see another opportunity to make Steve happy (and more rich?) by "you" shelling out another $500 for a new device as replacement for the one "you" broke and not covered by the warranty!!!! What a SHAM(E)!!!

batman, 20 Apr 2010same as iphone 3g.me going to stick to my iphone 3g.apple disappoints everyone :(This one is definitely NOT the same as 3G. 3GS could be considered the same as 3G, but this one has bigger res screen, front camera, (at least) 5MP back camera with flash, noise cancellation mic... And that's what's known only by appearance. This proto wouldn't boot up because it was locked.

Amazing how many current iphone users do NOT like this design. I am using 3GS myself, and I agree that the design could have been better, but I asure you, when 4G comes out it's gonna sell like cup cakes. Purchased by 3GS users~! that hated the design lol. I will be the first in line at the store, just like when 3G & 3GS realeased lol~~~~ can't wait~!!
My question is, will it be 4G connection? Useless
in my country lol haha in fact there are only few
countries in the world that support 4G connection
right now like Japan and Russia, that's about all I know of. Certainly NOT US or Cananda not even Korea.
P.S: I have full faith and confidence in GSMarena, and
their report is almost never wrong.

All this information is not correct.
I thought that GSMARENA was a reliable website.
