Arjun, 21 Jul 2012Face time is not free service in some country.....plz check it with ur service provider.....No, I don't agree that in some countries you have to pay in order to do Facetime... Not at this moment at least. When the iPhone 4 came out and introduced Facetime, you could only do that via a WiFi connection either at home or elsewhere. That still holds today with both iPhones 4 and 4S.
When iOS6 comes out later this year, that update will finally allow both iPhones to do Facetime via 3G networks. Only then would we have to pay to do Facetime, as accessing such a service via 3G may be at a premium cost with some networks. Even I myself am confused: would Facetime over 3G eat up voice call minutes (like in doing video calls through any other smartphone), or would it eat up mobile data?
But then again I don't see Apple removing Facetime via WiFi with iOS6 so IMHO you still have that option to do it for free.

Iphone is a greatest phone ever... In every hollywood movies mostly i see apple products not plasticy samsuns :P

much faster n smooth. apple aaplications r way ahead of ... moreyou have just compared hardware (the iphone 4) to software (android) My wife's iPhone 4 is so slow in every way to my Samsung nexus witch is running android 4.1 this is to be expected. the iphone only has a 1GHZ cpu my nexus has a duel 1.2GHZ cpu + 50% more ram
but my phone will seam slow to the new phones out with 1.5GHz Quad-core cpu...will be running android ...so i can safely say the iPhone 4 is SLOW

DeVille, 13 Jul 2012I just got a 32Gb iPhone4 here in Bombay, India and I'm facing some issues setting it up- -... moreTake back up of ur all data using itunes including of installed applications. U can copy ur contacts using micrsoft office outlook. Send it to it and then send back from outlook to ur desired phone, thats how I did. And yes, u do have landscape mode for typing not just potrait if ur not getting to landscape mode on rotating then it means ur lock is on, to unlock it simply double click on the menu button and then move ur finger from left hand side to right hand side at bottom on where applications r displayed when u use it on screen. There u will see music player with play/pause with fast forward and rewind buttons and next to it is the lock button click on it then it will be unlock. The icon u have on ur status bar of lock at right hand side will be disappeared and it will come back with same method. The use of this lock to stop rotating mode for texting, music etc as many doesnt like using it.

snake eyes, 19 Jul 2012when will apple release factory unlock procedure or the software to unlock the phone? i cant u... moreWake up ! ur late, it has been already released in the market and available which means apple's factory unlock software. Example: many people that I know they have done factory unlock and each country has it's own price, if ur phone is from usa then it will be expensive than australian network's Iphone to unlock it. Here it's around 90$, more or less and I m from India.

I went to get an iPhone 4 just to see what the fuss was all about and this is after using an Android (HTC Desire S). Within 10 minutes, I switched back. The massive problem I have with the iPhone is interface and navigational issues. There are NO WIDGETS which means everything has to be done by clicking on a button - even world clock has to come from a stupid application button. You CANNOT DELETE DEFAULT APPLICATIONS and the ones which are set to default are not even the usual default ones such as games and notes.
SAFARI SUCKS, the internet on the phone is absolutely terrible such as making things bigger, cutting and pasting things are a mission unlike Android.
The APPLICATION STORE is also terrible. For the life of me I can't stop it from asking for my iTunes account details everytime I want to download something and the store is very limited compared to Android.
You're also STUCK WITH DEFAULT RINGTONES.
For the life of me, I can't begin to think why people like iPhones.
If customisation is what you want as well as ease of navigation if you depend on widgets, don't get an iPhone. Simple as that.

Facetime does not have its own app icon like in the iPod Touch 4G. To Facetime someone, you have to do that through 'Contacts'. Choose a name, and scroll to the bottom. You should find the option to do Facetime there.
