hey alisa...if u upgrade ur iphone to ios 5.1 it will not work slow. it works fast with some additional cool features

But right now its not a good time to buy either an iPhone 4/4S. No value for money.
HTC One X and S3 offer latest hardware and software.
If you do need to buy an iPhone wait for iPhone 5 like me.
