The reason u have locked the phone is because of the upgrade to IOS 5. Sadly i am pretty much sure the baseband of the phone will have also been upgraded which means u have to wait for a unlock version to be made available nor the Gevey SIM will work with IO5 all you can do is wait for the unlock ....

if you look at the ratings for phones in this website, the iPhone isn't even included haha, thats how many Apple haters/geeks/nerds there are visiting this site. nevertheless, that doesn't matter. The iPhone is bar none the best smartphone to ever been invented. If you're transitioning to a smartphone, the iPhone is the way to go. Or just be another cookie cutter and buy samsungs haha. I also recommend Nokia phones, reliable and they make good phones.

Hi all, can anyone tell me how to solve my problem! I bought an unlocked iPhone 4 6 mounths a go and i was using 2 SIM cards(diferent networks) but after i updated to iOS 5, and a few day later to iOS 5.0.1 the phone is locked to the network wich SIM card was in the phone when i was updateing. Help please!

Hi all, i have a problem! I bought an unlocked iPhone 4 in a store 6 mounths a go, and i was able to use any operator sim! After i updated the phone to iOS 5 i din't use another sim card, then it ofered me to update to iOS 5.0.1 on the iPhone itself and i acepted and instaled but when i tried to use another sim(other operator) and it sais: Limited service! I tried to select the network manualy but also apears that is not posible to select this network! HELP please, anyone! I'm on the edge to send the iPhone to "meet" the wall! Any ideas people???
