I have definetly noticed a drop in battery life..When i eventually decide to update to IOS5 it said in itunes that it would take 2 hours..I just left it and went to do something else..I am using a windows computer to do this but itunes can be quite technical sometimes.

Does any one have problem after updating to ios5. I am facing three problems. First is the battery draining faster in ios5 than when the phone was in ios4. Second wifi disconects automatically and goes to 3G even of the phone is in the range. Third while type in fast the keyboard is not responding as it use to when the phone was in ios4.
Are anyone of you facing the same problem.

after updating to iOS 5. I noticed that there's a massive battery drain. I already disabled notifications, location services, and also network connections, but it seems the same. It's a big battery drain difference compared to 1% per hr while running on iOS4

My iphone has codes on the back but unsure how to use them to see if its genuine iphone.

Just buy a HTC sensation, dual core 1.2Ghz CPU and the newer editions have the 1.5Ghz CPU. XE and XL models. Read the reader reviews on the comparison to the i4 and the Samsunf Galaxy sII, they speak for themselves. Dont buy and i4 or i5 when they are out just because you have always had an apple product! Dont be a sheep and feel like you have to have the apple product, if buying overprice and over rated, if given for free its ok, but now not the best on the free market.

There seems a lot of probs with the new iphone,,poor battery and random rebooting ..i could go on but thats what you get with early adopters of new tech..I will stick with iphone 4 and update to IOS 5 like @Needi says in earlier post..Touch wood it wont slow down iphone...

Anonymous, 27 Oct 2011is there a IPHONE 4 8gb ? because i saw one Yes there is an iphone 4 8gb,,well there is here in UK but cant say for anywhere else.It is still pretty expensive and even tho an iphone convert you can get so much more for that price...The other thing is when you try iphone its hard to go back to anything else..

Its biggest advantage is that now you can play 1080p videos and edit your photos as well. Notification are also much better. No more annoying badges. Wifi sync is also big +. Siri and 1080p recording are only 2 main software related differences between iphone 4 ans 4s with ios 5. Viva la apple.

i,m using iphone 4 (32gb) july last year.this week it is updated by ios5.it work well.no slow.one problem created.if i saved the number in isd(+977...) format,reacieving call doesn't identified name then number displayed.if number (without isd)saved in name ,reacieving SMS doesn't identified name then isd format number displayed.let us help to solve this problem.

AnonD-27989, 27 Oct 2011I have heard that jailbrekd iphone 4 cnt b updated to iOS5 .... I have 1 jailbrkd ... I wnt to... moreOnce you go up to IOS5 you update the baseband and you cannot downgrade to IOS 4.3 or whatever..Even if you have saved your shsh blobs on Cydia you cannot downgrade..If you like your iphone now and are just upgrading for the sake of it DONT.
I have not heard of jailbreak for IOS5 yet so if you are jailbreaking for a specific option then DONT upgrade to IOS5 till a jailbreak appears..
