You are correct, dual cores is not significantly impressive in actual use. Single core is okay for 95% daily use. ;-)

Great piece of manmade device available. Best smartphone ever made hands down. Sure you can argue its on a closed source os and u hate having to use iTunes all the time and it doesnt have expandable memory but who cares? I don't. I love iTunes which just acts as added security for me and I love the fact that it is closed source even thought it limits the os and I have almost 300000 apps to choose from on the app store so am good. Great built quality, best ppi density, great all round image and video quality and capture, stunning display, high res. screen, best camera ever on a phone even though its not the highest pixel count out there and it has a built in iPod for God sakes. Don't be fooled it your screen and overall image quality is important to you, which it should be, u can't go wrong with this phone. Super fast and don't be fooled by all the dual core nonsense, from my experience they sound good on paper but falls short in actual performance. They closest other alternative is the original galaxy s1. Excellent phone on all counts am using one rte now 2. lol. The factory unlocked 32gb version. Only problem is that the battery life could be better which is also true in every other phone since we all which that the battery life was always at a hundred percent but no complains here. The s2 is not a real contender in my opinion and htc hasn't release anything good for awhile so iPhone 4 is king.

Technology development is really very fast. I believe that the main contribution of iphone to smartphone technology is using the multi-touch capacitive screen in their first generation iphone wayback june 2007, which all smartphone manufacturers are using now. This practically killed the stylus technology of resistive screens. Now Apple is planning to integrate a projector on their Iphone 5 or 6. Really amazing.....

I believe that this first generation iphone really initiated sudden increase and interest in the smartphone market due to its simplicity of operation and responsive touch screen.

hi all, im a not fan of iphone4, but base on reviews and comments of my friends that was using it for almost a year,its a good pone,quality and design is awesome! its the best pone apple ever made,the display is great,iOS is amazing,but still even them are saying that theres a lot of functionality that wasnt included in the specs.they admit it that it's not the complete package that everyone is looking for,some may look for a high MP cam of this phone,fm radio,etc..as i have seen, for me it gives u a good quality of photos even thou it only has 5MP,it gives u good quality of music,etc..
different issues / concern for each people here, maybe the only thing i can say / advice to anyone before saying anything bad here is that anyone can decide wat pone is the best for them,depending on their needs. dont be bother wat negative comments other people say here,coz if iphone 4 wasnt that good,then i think apple will no longer be apple now,u know? i mean,they're still one of the top cp producer in the world. im a desire S user which is always compared to iphone4 because of its specs,desire s satisfies my needs in terms of fuctionality,ex. i often used my nokia bluetot headset when im traveling,which i cant do to iphone4,if anyone knows how to do it,then correct me here and i apologize for my mistake,anyone please? that's what i mean,getting a phone must satisfy ur needs in terms of how the way u wanted/needed to use it. iphone4 users are getting wat they need from the phone,hopefully even u who's reading this was satisfied by the pone u are using ryt now,if not? then its tym for u to buy a new one, REMEMBER, U MUST BE SATISFIED BY UR NEEDS AND BEING SATISFIED BOTH (NEEDS AND WANTS) IS A PLUS!!! With this development, I am plannin... moreI have IP4 over a week but online second hand shops here in UK means i can sell for almost price i paid for it.I got sgs2 in May and it cost nearly £500 yet cannot get half that price second hand now and IP4 is nearly 15 months old.
i have learnt that Apple traditionally launch new incarnation of IOS with new Iphone and launch keynote on a Tuesday,,so every tuesday is open to new IP5 release.Also know Foxcon making 150,000 a day and 15 million should be reday for launch day..Going by last years sales that will mean shortages again.

I just learned that Iphone 5 will be available next month. With this development, I am planning to sell my Iphone 4 as the price is almost similar to the price when I bought it last year. This phone is still looking new that is why the price is still quite high. This is the beauty of Iphone 4, you can still resell this device at a high price and people are still willing to buy it.
