If all you're after is a functional phone to make and receive calls and SMSs keep away from this phone at all costs. The same applies for all smart phones. They are just expensive toys and make normal phone usage very frustrating.
Over the last two years I have gone through 4 Blackberrys and 2 iPhones. They were given to me for free by my employer and for the sake of the sanctity of my soul I opted to give them up. The sense of relief and freedom I have now is indescribable. I can now send messages on my Nokia 1200 without having to go through a labyrinth of functions, losing my way in the process and forgetting what I was doing in the first place. I'll say one thing for the iPhone. It is almost impossible to destroy. In a fit of desperation I slammed it against the wall, forced my entire weight (102 kgs) upon it from a height of 1 metre and the phone emerged from this onslaught unscathed. The Blackberry, subjected to the same violent fury had to be swept up.
The morale is that if it is a camera you want buy it from Canon or Nikon or people who make cameras. If you want a music player get a dedicated player and yes, you probably guessed that you can get radio transmissions on the radio.
Forget about the convenience of e-mails. They hardly ever work overseas. They tend to flock in once you step off the plane back home. Furthermore, these phones are usually replaced by upgrades every three minutes which is hardly what the average person spending EUR850 wants. They jam at sporadic intervals and you cannot distance yourself from a wall plug for more than 5 minutes because that is just about how long the battery lasts.
Finally, if you had to ignore those people who THINK they understand how these phones work, there is absolutely no one out there who can provide solutions to problems short of advising you to switch off and switch on again. Sorry for the diatribe guys. It's not that I don't have time to waste with these phones. On the contrary, I have plenty of time to waste but this is not the way I want to waste it.

...If you are looking for sharp camera and good motion video, Or like to transfer file by using bluetooth. I'm sure this is not the right phone for you and will definate make you feel fraustrating.
Iphone 4 are going back to oldies phone :
a) There's no memory card slot & you need a computer to transfer files. for Most phone, you just use back the same momory card to the new phone, and that' is.
b) No removeable battery.
Raman Raj, 14 Jun 2011bro, Vishal . .....i heard that you got a new nokia n900 . So even i want to buy a new nokia n... morehey there,
sory for interrupting...but seriously i said that n900 is one of the most powerful gadget in the earth...its internet do support html web browser..just same like pc one, every inch r same like pc...scondly all of its apps doen not depend on OVI...it got somethin like app store or android market.it is called application manager..also got many apps but not same like android n ios lar...just whats make me change is n900 doesnt support HD 720p video recording ...
but u also can get the same game like on ios n android from here for free...
yes...its proccessor its fast enough to run 3d hd games, but still cant compete with ip4 or any other 1ghz smartphone....the multitasking for this fon is awesome...u can see all open apps side by side...n u can play almost 12 videos on the same time while u can watch them on the one screen...isnt it awesome...
but im currently now using ip4...
so,if u got more budget,go for iphone 4...
if less, nokia n900 will be the great n suitable one...
sory for interupting but i just too proud with n900 n iphone 4...cant keep it in my mind...
sory for my english...:)
[deleted post]Nokia stock has not just fallen because of the iphone. It started when smart phones started becoming popular. Phones with more functionality became more affordable and because iphones and Android phones have the Appstore and Android Marketplace supporting them, As well as O/S updates for these platforms. Blackberry is a distant third but mostly because of BBM and BIS make them a popular choice. Nokia stuck to the dying golden goose that is Symbian for to long and now the effects are evident. Really...OVI store is a let down. That is why they are adopting the WP7 platform. If it will help them at all remains to be seen.
Anyone ever read that open letter from Nokia's CEO to his staff. Caught with there pants down sums it up.
