[deleted post]The phone does not have to do everything for you. It just has to do what you want it to. If it does, then you should buy it. If not then maybe another phone would suit you. Android phones are super powerful, but still don't offer certain things iPhone do. Gaming is still better on the iPhone say what you want. And despite dual core, megamega this, ultra power that, I can't plug in my electric guitar on any Android like I can with iPhone.
Android, iOS all have pros and cons. Use the tech that suits you best. Android, iPhone whatever. Confident people use their tech and enjoy it, not degrading others.
[deleted post]I'm sorry that in this high tech planet you put this comment here when you didn't mention Apple once.
Anonymous, 13 May 2011Yeah its the best, but only after every Adroid phone on the marketYou mean that all Android phones comes behind the iPhone XD
[deleted post]A camera and a touchscreen.......wow, welcome to 8 years ago.
theres a lot dual sim fone available and a lot of costumers who wants to buy this fones.. but the problem is, they dont know how this fone works.. like, dual stand by, dual active, can this fone fone recieve call while other Sim is in use... but the worst of them all is... GsmArena is not reviewing dual sim fones, not explaining anything about this.. they are so busy with smartfones.. you are so bias.. they dont mind cheap fones...
I have iphone 3gs and iphone 4. Iphone is a great device but it lacks certain vital features.
1. NO FLASH PLAYER or JAVA
2. You have to use itunes to transfer your media.
3. All the video and ringtone media have to be converted/compressed to iphone size. this is time consuming.
On the other hand android is so much better in my opinion u can do all the features listed above. Also does not need to convert any media just drag and drop the video files into the phone. It will play it without any problem.
Anonymous, 15 May 2011Don't really understand your problem. Just in case, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars&... moreI'll guide you through.
Go to contacts>choose any contact name>then underneath the mobile number there are two (or 3 options if mms is enabled) options: text message and add favorite>tap text message then see if the contact appears in your sms.
I just luv this Iphone4 but why there is no radio, i don,t get this why why why. can someone give me an explanation. Apple could have just simply include this option. Anyways i m still going to buy this.
Anonymous, 13 May 2011Yeah its the best, but only after every Adroid phone on the marketwrong Apple IPhone will always beat all others no matter the OS it's just that good

Some people have problems finding their contacts, because by default, names are sorted by Surname. In Asia, most times, names are sorted by first name.
Hope this helps.
I just bought my iPhone 4 yesterday and I already noticed a bug.
When I try to send a text message directly to a contact,
the contact name doesn't show up in the sms.
I did all basic trouble shooting possible.
I've already upgraded to 4.3.3 and the problem still persists.
I have no problem sending and receiving text message.
Only that, everytime I have to create an SMS,
i have to do it by tapping the SMS icon and manually choosing the contact.
I CANNOT do so by tapping the contact icon and DIRECTLY create the sms by tapping
the "text message" option underneath the contact number because the contact name
does not show up in the sms.
Other than that, the phone is fine.
I am hesitant to ask my carrier to replace the unit because here in the Philippines,
iPhone units are not replaced right there and then even if you have a legitimate reason
to ask for a replacement. It would normally take a month or so to wait as I did 2 years ago
when I had them replaced my 3GS which turned out to be a refurb which caused me so much fury.
So is there a way to fix this bug? Or is it something tolerable?
can i download applications from the android market to an iphone 4?
sania, 14 May 2011I like iphone..but i like nokia or samsung more. Because in iphone i have to buy application..... morehye there,
what u need to do is just jaibreak your iphone..after u jailbreak it u can njoy all applications inside there for free...install 'installious' then just browse what game u wnt...mine have 10 pages of great games...20.3gb r reserved spaced for apps n games only...relly fun ...
sory for my english... :D
I bought an iPhone 4 and my brother got his Nokia N8.
I so regret my decision since N8 let's you do so much more.
A few examples of what Nokia N8 has over iPhone: BlueTooth sharing, USB-on-the-Go, FM transmitter, GPS sensor(works while offline!), has SD card slot AND internal 16GB, Java, Flash 4 for web browsing, HDMI tv-out, Dolby Surround sound 5.1, widgets in home screens... ALSO the obvious one: the 12MP camera with Xenon flash
I also don't like that apple has us so restricted when using our iPhones. I guess I'll just sell my iPhone and buy a Nokia N8.
Arpit Bhatia, 15 May 2011Video calling is available only through Wi-Fi ... it's disappointing Video calling is only via wifi if using FaceTime. Skype, Tango etc are available both on wifi and 3G.
