Anonymous, 14 May 2011Hey user's Im new Apple IOS so can Some1 explain me Wt is Jailbreaking........????iOS jailbreaking is a process that allows devices running Apple's iOS (also known as iPhone OS prior to iOS 4.0) operating system (such as the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and recently Apple TV) to gain full access (root access) to unlock all features of the said operating system, thereby removing limitations imposed by Apple. Once jailbroken, iOS users are able to download additional applications, extensions and themes that are unavailable through the official Apple App Store, via installers such as Cydia, one of a number of current means for older iPhones. A jailbroken iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch running iOS can still use the App Store and iTunes and other normal functions, such as making telephone calls. Jailbreaking is similar to rooting an Android device.
At its core, jailbreaking a device gives access to its root filesystem, allowing modification and installing Third-party software components. This gives the user more control over the device and may enable features that were previously unavailable. In many cases, jailbreaking also voids the device's warranty.

You will need to install greenpois0n on your iPhone to start the jail breaking process
I currently have 4.2.1 on my phone and it's still working great...
Step 1: Download the latest iTunes from the Apple official website to backup all your contacts and other data.
Step 2: Download Greenpoison RC7 from www.greenpois0n.com.
Step 3: Run the app Greenpois0n.exe.
Step 4: Follow the screen to enter the DFU mode. IF you fail, please try again.
Step 5: After the jailbreak process finished, your iPhone 4 will restart, and there will be a app loader on the screen. Run Loader, click Cydia - Install Cydia.
Step 6: Restart iPhone 4 to run cydia to install the latest updates.
** AppSync for 4.0+ lets you install cracked apps on your iPhone.
Step 1: Tap Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit
Step 2: Tap Add and then type http://cydia.hackulo.us . After typing it, tap Add Source. You need to install AppSync for 4.0+.
You should be all set now.

I love the iPhone every time but i think that Apple should release the next one otherwise the samsung,lg,and other companies make it hard for apple to be successful like the old times.

Why can't they give a proper guess as to when the iphone 5 is coming out.
I'd get a 4 today if I knew the 5 was gonna be another 12 months...
I suppose that is the exact reason why they won't even leak a guess
Do want an adventure/rpg game to play at work if I do get the 4 though, any suggestions?

I purchased an iphone from US n was using it in India since 2days thru turbosim...yesterday, i jailbreaked it n the phone got switched off...now my network got disconnected n to connect it again i have to remove the turbosim slot n attach it again...the problem is, i m not being able to remove the turboslot...i think the simcard has got stuck inside...try too hard but in vain...kindly help me how to remove it....my mobile is out of network since 2days...cant wait more..

how do i upload radio & word,pp,excel being a university student i need them on my handset too. i realised in the specs that it doesnt have the above mentioned tools. i really want the iphone 4, i think its classy and says "i've made it"
