LAHI, 06 Apr 2011any one know how to set a MP3 to ringing tone?
pls help me.....1. Select the song in iTunes. Right click on the song and click on Get Info.
2. In the Options tab, change the stop time to 0:30 (30 seconds). Click OK.
3. Right click on the song and select Create AAC version.
4. Drag the AAC version to your desktop (or any other folder). Before doing this ensure you are able to see the file extension. You can do in the folder menu of Windows.
5. Change the extension of the song from m4a to m4r.
6. Double click and the song will play on itunes and also you can view it in the Ringtones menu in iTunes. Upon syncing, it will feature in your ringtones menu in iPhone.

LT, 06 Apr 2011Why my iphone4 has 32G but it doesn't appear when I connect with laptop, it says only over 4G ... moremust be the Chinese version.. :).. have you tried using ITunes, if yes and the sync shows the same... then its probably a defective 1.

Hey if you want just a limited phone. Buy the Iphone. If you want a tablet computer with a phone application I would advise on buying N900 or wait for a new Meego device..
Linux maemo needs less power than Android. Has more installable application memory, better virtual memory use, plus plenty of storage memory & won't leave you with a measly amount of memory after all your widgets & shortcuts are open. Has a feature rich web browser.
Could someone tell me one thing that Android has that linux doesn't. Name one thing. 24bit renderer included, same limit on colours, 16 bit so does every other OS have that limit.
Maemo might have a limit on screen resolution. 800x480 & even 848x480 with the camera! So it's not HD. Android might well cater for HD profiles, formats. I just like linuxs task switcher very much, dialler, GUI, application menu structure.
I can make shortcuts smaller, I can place well detailed widgets that are small & even notes notes, emails, messages all look professional, slim & lightweight. Multitasking works very well.
i don't know if any Android guys have seen maemo in action or what they think about linux in general over Android???

Probably has something to do with Steve's leave of absence too. May just be a rumor. Personally, I'm not too fussed as my iPhone 4 contract doesn't finish until June 2012 and I'm really happy with it!

Alternatively, if you have an iMac with iLife and the ringtone you want as a full song, you can put it into GarageBand, cut it to the section you want and send it to iTunes as a ringtone. I'm sure there are other ways to do it if you are a Windows user. Google will help you there. Good luck!

1. Hold the Power and Home button together for 10-15 seconds. Let go of both.
2. Just hold the Power button for a few seconds to see the Apple logo.
After that, this usually gets rid of the problem:
Go to Settings -> Reset -> Reset All Settings. (This will reset your Settings to factory default but will not delete App data or media).
